Last Updated: 2024/11/22, This kind of plant actually has some delicate, for example, some people will find that in the process of breeding it, its roots rot, in fact, this is related to excessive watering, but also with too much fertilization, generally we take the operation is to evaporate the water, wash away the fertilizer, if more serious, change the soil. Of course, there is another reason because of root rot, this time we have to use the relevant drugs to treat it.

1. Watering

One of the reasons is that it is overwatered. If the source is found to be like this, it has to be placed in a relatively cool place and then ventilated, so that its basin soil will not be too wet and its symptoms can be alleviated. We can't let the sun shine directly, and we can't continue watering until the basin soil is dry, usually wait two weeks before entering normal maintenance, and during this period the new roots will slowly grow.

At ordinary times, we still improve the water quality. It is best to use Rain Water. If not, pond water, river water, etc., are also fine. If tap water is needed, it should be left still for a few days. As for the time, it should be watered about once every seven to ten days.

2. Fertilizer

If it is because the fertilizer is too thick, we should use flood water to wash it away. After that, we should put it in a more ventilated place, and we should not let it come into direct contact with the sun. In addition, we usually do not use chemical fertilizer when fertilizing, just use some animal droppings and water with vinegar.

3. Change the soil

If the root is very rotten, we need to get it out of the soil, then cut off the rotten roots, and then put it in a new basin, preferably with some water, and then put it in a cool place. Don't touch the sun directly.

4. Root rot

The disease is caused by fungi and usually occurs in the rhizome because the place is usually wet and there is not much sunshine. If such a disease occurs, we should dispose of the dead plants in time, and the soil should also be disposed of, because this kind of thing has a very strong ability to infect and can easily spread in places with high alkaline and wet temperatures. Nearby plants can be washed with potassium permanganate, then washed with clean water, and then on the basin, basin soil can also be considered to use a fixed concentration of topiramate to spray, which is conducive to eradication.
