A few days ago, the Ministry of Agriculture announced the results of a special inspection of the national seed market. The seeds of 9 varieties in 7 provinces and cities were unqualified, and the types of unqualified seed crops were corn and rice, mainly produced by Beijing Lvduoqi Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. Beijing Miyun Mijingxing seed Management Department distributes "Jingpin No. 6" and Dunhuang seed Industry Pioneer seed Co., Ltd. Inner Mongolia Bayannur City Wuyuan County Shanda five-star seed industry distribution of "Xianyu 335" and so on. In addition, 68 seed production bases belong to unlicensed production, including 63 in Gansu and 5 in Xinjiang. the larger ones are the 1500 mu of Jingyi Village, Wujiang Town, Ganzhou District, Zhangye District, Gansu Province, and the Sunjiawan area of Heiliangwan Village, Baojiadian Town, Manas County, Xinjiang. the seed production enterprises are Zhangye Fukai Agricultural Science and Technology Co., Ltd., Zhangye Fengyu Xinlong seed Co., Ltd.

Last winter and this spring, the Ministry of Agriculture arranged and deployed a special national seed crackdown campaign to strictly investigate key varieties, key bases, key markets, key enterprises, and major and important cases through linkage with industry and commerce and public security departments. After more than a year of full-coverage supervision and spot inspection, fake and shoddy seed production bases have been exposed, seed market anti-counterfeiting efforts have been intensified, deterrence has been enhanced, and market order has further improved. With regard to the reported cases, the Ministry of Agriculture requires the agricultural administrative departments of the relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) to investigate and deal with them in a timely manner in accordance with the "seed Law" and other relevant laws and regulations, and those suspected of committing crimes shall be transferred to judicial organs for handling in accordance with the relevant provisions. It is necessary to strengthen supervision and inspection of the verified illegal production and operation subjects and related markets and bases as the key objects of supervision in the future. The relevant provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) shall promptly make public the information on the settlement of the case and submit the results of the investigation to the seed Administration.
