The first China Meat Pigeon Industry Development Conference seeks Industrial upgrading

In order to make China's meat pigeon breeding industry out of its predicament, restore production, rebuild confidence, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the meat pigeon industry, a few days ago, sponsored by Guangdong Meat Pigeon Industry Association, Jiangsu Meat Pigeon Industry Association, Shanghai Meat Pigeon Industry Association and Beijing Yegu Health Industry Group Beijing Youdi Pigeon Industry Co., Ltd. hosted the "first China Meat Pigeon Industry Development Conference and China Meat Pigeon Industry Association Preparatory meeting" held in Shunyi District, Beijing. Leaders, experts and scholars from relevant departments and scientific research institutions at home and abroad, such as the National Animal Husbandry General Station of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the China Animal Husbandry Association, China Agricultural University, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Beijing Institute of Nutrition sources and the University of Sydney in Australia, a total of more than 400 people attended the conference.

The conference launched a heated discussion and discussion around the theme of "consensus-building and healthy development" in the meat pigeon industry. The meeting analyzed the current situation, development direction, opportunities and challenges of meat pigeon breeding at home and abroad. At present, China's pigeon industry stands out in the special poultry industry, and its annual output has become the "four birds" after the "three birds" (chickens, ducks and geese). The total stock of meat pigeons has reached 30 million pairs, with an annual output of 430 million squab pigeons. Meat pigeon products are the cleanest, most environmentally friendly and most beneficial to human needs among the meat products produced today. The squab is generally listed at the age of 15-28 days. Its meat is sweet and tender, the bones are fine and crisp, delicious and nutritious, it is a nutritional tonic and green food suitable for all ages, and provides high-quality food for the vegetable basket of our citizens.

The conference discussed how to transform and upgrade the meat pigeon industry as a health industry, discussed the production mode of sustainable development of meat pigeon breeding, discussed the direction of the future development of the industry, and promoted advanced scientific and technological achievements through technological exchanges. The meeting also proposed that the establishment of China Meat Pigeon Industry Association should be declared as soon as possible, and the proposal for the Establishment of China Meat Pigeon Industry Association was adopted.
