Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Aloe vera is raised well or not, you can tell by the leaves, the leaves are full and bright, and some of the unhealthy aloe vera are scorched, some curl up, and some even become soft and drooping. The following is the correct maintenance posture.

Aloe vera is raised well or not, you can tell by the leaves, the leaves are full and bright, and some of the unhealthy aloe vera are scorched, some curl up, and some even become soft and drooping.

Here are the correct care postures

1. Make sure aloe has plenty of sunshine.

Except for summer, aloe vera has the best light of 8-10 hours a day, usually in windows facing south or west, and full-day sunshine is the best in today's weather.

Summer shade, winter move the window to bask in the sun, so do not believe it is not good.

2. Wait until the soil is completely dry before watering

Many flower lovers immediately watered aloe vera, which is wrong. Aloe vera is a succulent plant. It will be watered 4 days after planting, and see light 5-7 days later.

After watering, you have to wait for the basin soil to be completely dry before watering. You can insert your fingers into the soil by 3cm or 5cm, which is dry. Aloe does not like too much water, and if there is too much water, the roots will rot.

Aloe vera grows straight in winter and does not need watering (two or three times at most), and more water is needed in summer.

3. Fertilize once a year in spring

Fertilization is mainly phosphate fertilizer, give a little slow-release long-term compound fertilizer, of course, do not give thick fertilizer, do not fertilize frequently, once a year is enough.

4. Prevent bacterial infection

What if you see whitefly or scale insects? Early discovery, immediately apply alcohol to the patient, you can easily get rid of the pests. Usually pay attention to the basin soil do not always accumulate water.

If the air is too dry, spray a little water around, not on the leaves. Do not always spray water on the leaves, long-term accumulation of water in the center of the leaves is easy to rot the stem.

5. Check the leaves to learn about health

Aloe leaves healthy or not, look at the leaves is the most intuitive, some flower friends leaves will also infiltrate yellow mucus, that is, the root system is not good, more water. If, like the left side of the picture above, the leaves curl up, become thinner and atrophy, it is lack of moisture, and the drooping leaves are lack of sunlight.

6. What if aloe grows slowly?

Sometimes, friends' aloe vera does not have any diseases and insects (it is not easy to attract diseases and insects), but keep it for a long time but do not grow tall, what should be done?

(before the aloe changed the basin, there was too much water and the root system did not grow well.)

The simplest way is to put pebbles on the basin when changing the basin every year, another layer of soil, a layer of organic fertilizer, and then add a layer of soil, and finally plant aloe, which is very helpful to the growth of aloe.

Many aloe vera does not grow well, it is because the soil drainage is not good, it is necessary to less watering, the leaves have shrunk a little and then water.

(after changing the basin, aloe grows very well, and lateral buds continue to appear.)

Be sure to give enough sunshine, although it can grow indoors, but the sun can grow stronger. (if you stay in the room for a long time, don't bask in too much at once, take your time.)

Some flower friends use tap water for a long time, the soil is too alkaline, it will not grow, you can give some alum fertilizer and water supplement. Change the basin once a year and properly clean the roots in order to grow better.
