China's water-soluble fertilizer development faces five bottlenecks
The 2014 China Symposium on the Development of Water-soluble Fertilizer, sponsored by the China Nitrogenous Fertilizer Industry Association, was held in Guangzhou on December 21. Representatives from water-soluble fertilizer production and operation enterprises, colleges and universities, scientific research institutions and government departments from all over the country attended the meeting, and the Petrochemical Department of the Raw material Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology also sent representatives to attend the meeting. This meeting summarizes the achievements made in the development of water-soluble fertilizer in China in recent years, deeply analyzes the difficulties and problems existing in the development of water-soluble fertilizer, and puts forward many suggestions on how to promote the healthy development of water-soluble fertilizer industry.
With the wide application of water-fertilizer integration technology the water-soluble fertilizer industry in China has developed vigorously the number of water-soluble fertilizer production enterprises has increased rapidly and the product promotion has achieved remarkable results. At present, there are a large number of registered water-soluble fertilizers and enterprises in China, but the operating rate is low and the utilization rate is low. The main factors restricting the development of water-soluble fertilizer in China are: first, the production technology is backward and the research and development foundation is weak; second, the production cost and logistics cost are on the high side; third, the product homogenization is serious; fourth, the lack of water-soluble fertilizer product standards; fifth, the lack of service investment of enterprises and farmers.
In view of the future development of water-soluble fertilizer in China, the participants suggested that: first, set up a special project of water-soluble fertilizer to increase support for the construction of irrigation and fertilization facilities and storage tanks; second, carry out industry-university-research cooperation to speed up the scientific and technological innovation of water-soluble fertilizer, speed up the promotion of water-soluble fertilizer integration technology; third, improve the product standards of water-soluble fertilizer, strengthen the impurities control of the products, avoid soil pollution by toxic and harmful substances, and improve the utilization rate of water-soluble fertilizer. Fourth, actively cultivate the market of water-soluble fertilizer, innovate marketing and service models, and promote the scientific application and market development of water-soluble fertilizer.
