The contribution rate of agricultural science and technology progress in China reaches 55.6%.
The reporter learned from the National Agricultural Work Conference held a few days ago that the National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance, a national scientific and technological innovation cooperation platform, was established in Beijing. This is an important measure for China to realize agricultural innovation drive and deepen the reform of agricultural science and technology system. It will inject innovative vitality into accelerating agricultural science and technology progress and provide strong support for promoting agricultural modernization. Since 2014, China has vigorously promoted the reform of agricultural scientific research system and achieved a number of major scientific and technological achievements. It is estimated that the contribution rate of agricultural scientific and technological progress will reach 55.6%.
Han Changfu, Minister of Agriculture, said at the inaugural meeting that China is in a critical period of accelerating agricultural modernization, stabilizing grain, increasing income, adjusting structure, improving quality and increasing efficiency, and putting forward newer, higher and more urgent requirements for agricultural science and technology innovation. The construction of the National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance will fully condense the national agricultural scientific research force through system innovation and strive to improve the efficiency of agricultural science and technology innovation.
According to introduction, the National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Alliance is a national scientific and technological innovation cooperation platform jointly participated by the national, provincial and prefecture-level agricultural (animal husbandry) industry and agricultural reclamation academies, and is the main force of agricultural science and technology innovation in China.
The alliance will focus on a game of chess, a dragon, and integration. Establish a new pattern of "one game of chess" agricultural scientific research work with division of labor and cooperation, so that the alliance becomes the core platform for national agricultural scientific research joint research; create a "one-stop" agricultural scientific research organization model covering the upper, middle and lower reaches, so that the alliance becomes the backbone network of national agricultural science and technology innovation; and construct a multidisciplinary integrated "integrated" agricultural science and technology comprehensive solution, so that the alliance becomes an important force supporting the development of modern agriculture.
