Recently, the reporter learned from the national meeting on the construction of the Internet of things and the innovation of agricultural management services held in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province that the Internet of things technology has achieved preliminary results in upgrading traditional agricultural services. 17 sets of independent intellectual property rights have been formed, such as chemical fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, warehousing, logistics, sales, after-sales service, agricultural assets Internet of things technical solutions of the whole industry chain, etc. One national and industry standard has been officially issued and 3 pending trial; 15 national invention patents have been granted, 31 have been disclosed and accepted; and 72 national software copyrights have been made. it has laid a solid foundation for the establishment of a modern agricultural material management and service network system with China's independent intellectual property rights.

It is reported that in September 2011, the all-China Federation of supply and Marketing and the Chinese Academy of Sciences signed the "Strategic Cooperation Agreement on jointly Building the Modern Management and Service Network system of Agricultural Materials". After more than three years of efforts, the two sides have achieved results in three aspects. First, it has initially completed the integration of modern information technology such as the Internet of things and traditional agricultural material circulation business. The Internet of things technology system of agricultural materials with independent intellectual property rights has been established; a series of key technologies such as invisible QR codes, soil fertility modeling and automatic identification of diseases and insect pests for fine pesticide application have been broken through; industry standards such as the Electronic Code rules for Agricultural Commodities have been promulgated and implemented. It has promoted the construction of the National supply and Marketing Co-operative Agricultural assets Internet of things Application demonstration Base (Wuxi). At present, the base has completed the construction of infrastructure facilities such as the Internet of things Industrial Park and the National Internet of things data Center, and completed the joint debugging and testing of the basic support systems, such as agricultural material quality traceability and online query system, agricultural material distribution intelligent scheduling, remote diagnosis of diseases and insect pests, agricultural enterprise operation management, and remote store monitoring. Third, it has effectively implemented the research and application demonstration project of the intelligent information platform for agricultural material management and circulation. The Ministry of Science and Technology has implemented the key scientific and technological support projects of the Twelfth five-year Plan, and the application demonstration units have carried out application and demonstration work in the main agricultural products and service models such as fertilizers, pesticides, seeds and agricultural materials chain. Apply modern information technology to the traditional operation and management process of agricultural materials circulation, in the use of Internet of things technology to promote the construction of agricultural materials quality traceability system, carry out intelligent management of enterprises, agricultural materials information services, and so on. Combined with the reality, different application modes are formed.
