Egg flower, alias Burmese gardenia, egg yolk flower, Indian Jasminum, big season flower, oleander, egg flower is a deciduous shrub or small tree. The twigs are thick and succulent. The leaves are large, thickly papery, clustered at the top of the branches, and the veins are connected to one side near the edge of the leaves. Several flowers gather at the top of branches, Corolla tubular, ca. 5-lobed in diameter. The outside is milky white, the center is bright yellow, very fragrant. The florescence is from May to October. Egg blossoms bloom in summer with a delicate fragrance. After falling leaves, the bare trunk bends naturally and its shape is very beautiful. Suitable for planting in the courtyard, grass, can also be potted, can be used as medicine. Native to America, it has been introduced and cultivated in China. Egg flower is widely planted as one of the "five trees and six flowers" by Buddhist monasteries in Xishuangbanna, China and some Southeast Asian countries, so it is also known as "Temple Tree" or "Tower Tree". Its tree shape is beautiful, grotesque, the stem of the whole plant contains milk, and the leaves will fall in winter when cultivated in the greenhouse, which is a sign of its poor cold tolerance, but the bare trunk after defoliation is naturally like bonsai and has a strong ornamental.

Egg flower is a positive tree species, sexual preference for high temperature, moist and sunny environment. But it can also grow in a semi-shady environment, but the branches grow only in a shady environment, with few or no leaves, while yellow egg blossoms grow aerial roots on the branches in a shady and humid environment. The soil suitable for egg flower planting is the acid sandy loam with deep and fertile, good permeability and rich organic matter, which has strong plants, large number of flowers and bright colors. When the soil is barren, the egg flower has poor growth and development, the flower shape is small and the flower color is dim. Egg flower is resistant to drought, avoid waterlogging and has good stress resistance. However, drought is not conducive to plant development, serious poor growth; waterlogging is easy to cause root rot. Egg flower has poor cold tolerance, and the most suitable temperature for growth is 20-26 ℃. It is vulnerable to chilling injury when it is lower than 8 ℃ for a long time during overwintering. In the vast cities and towns south of the Tropic of Cancer in China, open-field cultivation can generally survive the winter safely; in central and North China, it is only suitable to plant in pots and enter the greenhouse in winter to survive the winter.

The place with deep soil layer, good drainage and sunny shelter from the wind is the most suitable for cultivation. The main root is deep, the lateral root is shallow, and it is not resistant to transplanting. It grows fast and lives for a long time. The winding ability is strong, and it has strangling effect on other plants.

Wisteria is highly adaptable, heat-resistant and cold-resistant, and is cultivated in China from south to north. So in Guangdong, the temperature can adapt to wisteria all the year round. When overwintering, it should be placed at a low temperature of about 0 ℃ to keep the basin soil slightly wet and make the plant fully dormant. Albizia is often sown and propagated, and seeds are collected from September to October. Pods with full seeds and free from diseases and insect pests should be selected, dried and stored in a dry and ventilated place to prevent mildew. To raise seedlings in spring, soak the seeds for 8-10 hours before sowing and then sow them. Sowing ditches with 60cm, covering soil with 2-3cm, keeping the border soil moist after sowing, and germinating for about 10 days. The amount of seed used in one hour is about 150kg. After the seedlings come out, the management work such as weeding, loosening, soil and topdressing should be strengthened. It was transplanted in spring or autumn in the second year, and the plant spacing was 3-5m. Weeding and pine nests are weeded every spring and autumn for 2-3 years after transplanting to promote growth. Between March and April of the following year, the seeds will be treated before sowing. Because the seed coat is hard, in order to make the seeds germinate neatly and unearthed quickly, soak the seeds with 0.5% potassium permanganate cold water solution for 2 hours before sowing, rinse the seeds with clean water and soak the seeds in hot water about 80 ℃ for 24 hours before sowing. Using this method to promote germination, the germination rate can reach 80% MUE 90%, and the growth after emergence is robust and not easy to get sick.
