When I first started to raise orchids, according to other people's experience, once a day in summer, sometimes in the morning and evening, fortunately, I used granular soil, mainly fairy soil, and the drainage was very good, so watering was not a big problem, but occasionally orchids got sick. If the orchid is mainly rotten soil, the orchid can't stand it, and it may die out. Later, after groping, I knew whether I should be watered by looking at the basin noodles and basin bottom, and I had a bad habit at ordinary times, which helped me master the watering time, that is, I often poured the basin to see the buds and roots. 1. Orchid environment: my orchid environment is the north back terrace of the top floor, the north aluminum alloy window, the top is the sun board, the sun plate and the aluminum alloy window are not completely sealed, a layer of sunshade net is in the orchid shed, and the sun can shine at noon in this season. because there are aluminum alloy windows in the north and no sunshade net in the south, there is plenty of sunshine. This season uses air conditioning to cool down, about 34 degrees during the day and 25 degrees at night. The electric fan blows the orchid 24 hours a day.

2. Plant materials and basin utensils: immortal soil and goldstone are used for plant materials, the proportion of immortal soil is 2: 3, that of goldstone is 1: 3, large size is used at the bottom of the basin to moisturize and drain water, medium size is used in the middle and small size is used in the basin. The plant material must cover the false corm, which is very important for dry cultivation and orchid cultivation with hard plant material, which is conducive to germination and rooting.

3. Water source and watering method: because I am in the urban area, the only water I use is tap water. Tap water is a very good water for watering orchids because it has been purified and sterilized. There is no need to volatilize chlorine overnight. When watering, the plastic leather pipe is connected to the faucet and the orchid is directly watered with a water gun. Don't worry about watering the orchid sprouts. You must water thoroughly. I usually have to water a pot of grass for 1 minute. I will do it again after all watering. The second watering can be faster.

4. Watering time: it's about 9 o'clock in the evening. The basin noodles are dry, and the basin noodles are dry on the first day after I watered them here, but it is still very wet inside, and it is not the best time to water them. On the 4th-5th day, the plant material dries to 1m cm under the basin surface, the false corm is still moist, and the planting material at the side hole at the bottom of the basin turns white, so it can be watered. 5. Don't spray water at will: I usually don't spray orchid leaves or basin noodles except watering, so my basin noodles are always dry and do not grow moss.

6. the relationship between watering and fertilization and medicine: fertilization: I usually dry the plant, fertilize first, and let the root system fully absorb the fertilizer. 2 hours later, or the next morning, we must pour it thoroughly and flush the fertilizer out of the new bud. Some orchid farmers first water, then fertilize, do not return water, so I do not think it is very good, unless he is wet, watering every day, otherwise when there is less water in the basin, the concentration of fertilizer will increase, which is disadvantageous to the root system. There is no need to return water after the use of fungicides, such as immediate return water can not play the role of drugs.

7. Watering in winter can add some hot water: I don't use tap water directly to water in winter. I use a large plastic bucket container, with tap water and gas water heater warm water fully mixed, the temperature of about 10 degrees, with a booster pump connected to the water gun spray orchids.

8. After watering, the orchid must be blown dry: I blow the orchid with an electric fan for 24 hours. After watering, the electric fan turns on to the maximum gear, and after 2 hours, the orchid is dried and changed to a low grade.
