The difference between tiger tail orchid and tequila

2. Tequila

This kind of flower is also tequila family, it is also perennial, relatively large plant, can also stay green all the year round. It is also called tequila palm, etc., from the Mexican region, because its leaves are relatively strong, will not wither and yellow for a whole year, so many gardens in the south can see it and use it for decoration. In the Yangtze River and its north, it is often planted in greenhouses. It likes places where drainage is better and the soil is fertile and wet. Even in Mexico, it usually takes decades to grow flowers, and after the flowers bloom, it will die, and only when it is pollinated by different flowers can it bear fruit.

1. The easiest way is to look at their shape. The leaves of the latter surround the stem and then extend outward, showing the shape of a rosette as a whole. The aboveground part of the former has no stem, the leaf falls directly on the ground, is the state of vertical growth, and the overall shape is bundle-shaped.

2. The former grows upward, but most plants of the same subject grow in the shape of a fan, so the leaves of tequila radiate like flowers.

3. The new leaves of the latter are yellowish green, and the new leaves of the former are darker than the latter. And the former is just like its name, looks like the tail of a tiger, has some dark green patterns on it, and it can only grow one new leaf a year. The new leaves of the latter grow faster and can grow from seedlings to rosettes in only a month or two.
