A few days ago, the second Global Branch of Internet Finance, sponsored by the Internet Finance Thousand talents Association, was held in Beijing. The conference takes "Internet + Finance + Industry" as the theme and puts forward that the next tuyere of the industrial Internet is agriculture. At big data's sub-forum on promoting finance, Wen Fujiang, president of Shandong Agricultural University, delivered a keynote speech entitled "the Application of Agricultural big data in Modern Agriculture".

At the meeting, Wen Fujiang shared their cases in the use of big data with the participants. He said: the Agricultural big data Center, established by Shandong Agricultural University in May 2013, uses big data's thinking and methods to solve related agriculture-related problems. They independently developed the dairy cow digital fine breeding system and related equipment. This system can collect and store the relevant data in the process of dairy cow breeding in real time, establish a model for the analysis of historical data, and through the monitoring and model analysis of these data, to achieve the purpose of improving the technical management level of dairy cow breeding.

Through this system, the following points can be achieved: first, through the proper recording of milk yield, exercise and body weight, the individual nutritional requirements of dairy cows are systematically analyzed and given, and each cow is given quantitative supplementary feeding in the milking parlour to achieve accurate nutritional management of dairy cows; second, record the exercise amount of dairy cows, and find estrus cattle by comparing with the estrous diagnostic model established by historical data. The detection rate of this system is more than 90%, and the false detection rate is less than 3%, which is more than twice as high as that of artificial estrus diagnosis. third, through the data monitoring and analysis of milk output, milk conductivity, body weight, exercise and so on, suspected sick cattle are found in time to assist in disease diagnosis. Fourth, set up groups at the exit of the milking parlor, automatically identify the cattle number, control the opening and closing of the grouping door through the software, separate the estrus and suspected sick cattle from the cattle, and divide the cattle into groups automatically. Fifth, through the analysis of the temperature data of the monitored barn, automatically control the fan and sprinkler equipment, realize the automatic control of cooling in the barn, link the heat stress of dairy cows in summer, and make the life of dairy cows more comfortable.

Wen Fujiang said that the system was independently developed by Shandong Agricultural University, and the equipment used was previously imported from Israel and has now been successfully developed. With this system, one person can manage a dairy farm with thousands of cows.
