The reporter learned that since 2013, the Academy of Agricultural Sciences has organized and carried out research on integrated production models for increasing production and efficiency of crops such as rice, corn, wheat, soybeans and rape. The study focuses on promoting grain production and efficiency, and takes "equal emphasis on increasing production and efficiency, matching of improved varieties and methods, integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy, and coordination of production ecology" as the basic requirements. with the goal of building a new comprehensive technology system for agricultural development with "high yield, high quality, high efficiency, ecology and safety" as the goal, relevant units inside and outside the hospital have been organized to carry out cooperative research and achieved good results.

After working together to tackle key problems, the institute has integrated a number of practical technologies and achievements, constructed an integrated production model for increasing production and efficiency of the above-mentioned crops, established a number of fixed test and demonstration bases, and set up a number of research teams. The yield of several crops all exceeded 10%, with a maximum of 44.7%, and a maximum efficiency of 500 yuan per mu. A total of 38 relatively fixed test and demonstration bases have been established in major producing areas and different ecological areas throughout the country, with a total area of nearly 35000 mu. Radiation has driven the development of regional modern agriculture.

Yuan Longjiang, director of the Achievement Transformation Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, said that in 2015, it will continue to promote research programs on crops such as rice, corn, wheat, soybeans and rape, and launch new projects such as potatoes, cotton, dairy cows and sheep. There are 16 participating units in the hospital, 52 scientific research units outside the hospital, and a large number of local governments, technical extension departments, and agricultural cooperation organizations. A total of 414 scientific and technological personnel participated in the joint research and development of key problems, as well as more than 1000 people who joined the front line of technology promotion and production. It is planned to lay out 73 experimental and demonstration bases in major producing areas and typical ecological areas, with a total area of 58000 mu and 220000 demonstration cows and sheep.
