The use of these lands to vigorously develop woody oil not only does not compete with grain, but also can effectively increase the domestic supply of edible vegetable oil. According to reports, China's edible vegetable oil consumption continues to grow, there is a gap in supply, and the degree of external dependence is high. In 2013, the output of edible vegetable oil in China was more than 28 million tons, and the domestic raw material production could only meet 40%. Soybeans alone imported 63.38 million tons.
