Last Updated: 2024/11/05, After the orchid blossoms, we need to control its growth conditions, which can make it bloom better and brighter. The temperature needs to be kept within 15 ℃-25 ℃; the moisture needs to be replenished properly; the fertilizer can be retted from bone meal and eggshell, once every ten days to half a month; and the light needs to be exposed to light, but can not be exposed to strong light.

1. The habitual characteristics of this plant

First of all, we need to know its habits. In this way, we can take better care of it when it blossoms. Because it originated in Africa. Therefore, it needs more heat and water. In addition, it has some requirements for flower fertilizer, especially at flowering stage. The other is the light, which likes semi-shade. However, light is indispensable during flowering.

2. Specific methods

(1) temperature: if you want the plant to bloom, and bloom well. In that case, the temperature must be within the most suitable range. For this plant, it is fine to keep it at 15 to 25 degrees. If the conditions permit, the most suitable range is 20 to 24 degrees. Be careful not to be too high or too low.

(2) moisture: there must be an adequate supply of water during flowering. On the whole, however, this aspect is not the most important. Because it has fleshy roots, it can store enough water. Therefore, it is okay not to water it for a short time. But don't leave it unwatered for a long time. Otherwise, the flowering will be affected.

(3) Fertilizer: first of all, we should reduce the use of fertilizers containing N elements. Otherwise, the flower color of the plant will fade, or even disappear if it is serious. We can choose the fertilizer made from bone meal and eggshell retting. Wait until it is fully fermented, dilute it, and it can be used. As for the frequency, it is controlled at once every ten days to half a month.

(4) Illumination: it is good to see more light during flowering, but be careful to avoid strong direct light. It is recommended that you put it in front of the window so that you can get oblique light.
