Last Updated: 2024/11/05, If you want to raise cinnamon better, you should choose slightly acidic soil for it. Just after planting, you should water thoroughly. You can't have too much water, but you can't lack it. Because it constantly grows flowers and consumes a lot of fertilizer, it should be fertilized at the right time and pruned when there is no Lignification.

First, how to maintain

1. Select soil

It likes the soil that is relatively loose and rich in organic matter. It can mix rotten leaves, peat, fine sand, etc., and use the soil that can make the root breathable. It is fine to have weak acidity. After mixing the soil, it can be disinfected to avoid the infection of bacteria.

2. Moderate watering

Water it once after planting. If the soil is too dry or too wet, it will affect its growth. If the delicate branches and leaves have shrunk, 1/4 of the basin should be immersed in clean water and wait for an hour before it can return to its original form. If there is too much water, its root can not breathe, it will lack oxygen and the root will rot.

3. Fattening at the right time

Because it keeps growing flowers and consumes a lot of nutrients, it needs fertilizer more than other plants. You can give it some phosphate fertilizer to help it bloom. Usually, you can add some organic fertilizer to it, not too high frequency, too much dose, to be carried out with watering, the effect is better.

4. Shaping and pruning

According to the shape of the tree and the owner's preference, remove all its thin branches, too dense branches, dead branches, diseased branches, and so on. If it is newly planted, some twigs should be cut off to reduce nutrient consumption and help it adapt to the environment earlier. It is usually trimmed when its new tip is just growing, but it is not lignified.

II. Points for attention

1. It likes the sun, so its leaves will be greener, the branches will be stronger and the flowers will be more fragrant. If you put it in a cool area, the branches and leaves will be relatively rare, and the aroma will be lighter. Its growth is the most exuberant at 15 to 30 degrees, but it will hurt its tender leaves because of the high temperature in summer. if it is a potted plant, put it in a windy area.

2. The limit temperature it can bear is minus 7 degrees, and the highest temperature is 38 degrees. If you want it to grow normally, it needs to be 2 to 22 degrees. If the summer is very hot, you can sprinkle the leaves with water, and you need to keep warm when it is cold in winter.
