1. Change the basin

For some cold-resistant flowers, fertilizer can be applied in the process of changing pots, changing soil, pruning and loosening soil. for example, rose is growing branches and leaves and growing buds, and nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizers can be applied every 10-15 days.

2. Reproduction

This month is an important period for flower breeding. Flowers such as canna, gladiolus, dahlia, taro and other flowers can be propagated in separate roots, while flowers such as water bamboo, brown bamboo, Phoenix tail bamboo, hanging orchid, hairpin and magnolia can be propagated separately. When the dahlias split their roots, each plant should have 1-2 stout buds. The flower-leaf taro can take out the tuber and plant it into balls, 1 in a large tuber and 2-3 in a small tuber. When the tuber begins to sprout and grow leaves, the large tuber can be cut and planted with a sharp knife, and the incision should be coated with plant ash to prevent rot. Ramet propagation is generally combined with turning the basin. When ramets, pay attention to leave part of the root system of the sub-plant to facilitate future growth.

3. Fertilization

Camellia, crab claw orchid, Daphne and other flowers that bloom in winter and spring need to consume a lot of nutrients, so it is necessary to apply nitrogen fertilizer in the warm spring to promote their growth. For flowers that are blooming, such as Magnolia, Zhu Dinghong, Michelia and other flowers, fertilizer should be stopped to prolong the flowering period.

4. Watering

In April, many succulent plants entered a period of vigorous growth, which can be watered according to different varieties. Fast-growing varieties can be watered more, while slow-growing varieties can be watered less. 5. Succulent growth
