Last Updated: 2024/11/08, If the magnolia does not grow new leaves for a long time, it means that there is something wrong with its maintenance. In order to make it grow leaves faster, we need to adjust its growth conditions: first, the soil, we can use rotten leaf soil, horse dung soil (mature), river sand, and bone powder to be mixed and made according to the ratio of 6 ℃ 2 to 1 ℃ 1, and change the soil regularly; then there is the temperature, 20 ℃-25 ℃ during the day and 10 ℃-20 at night. Then there is the light, which must be sufficient, and finally the humidity, which is best adjusted to 60%.

1. Soil

We also mentioned soil above. This is an extremely important factor that requires us to change the soil regularly. However, the frequency does not need to be too high, it can be changed once a year. The important thing is the quality of the soil, there are many aspects we need to consider. For example, it should contain more nutrients, loose, good permeability and so on. In order to make the reader more clear, here is a specific preparation method: mix rotten leaf soil, horse dung soil (rotten), river sand, and bone meal in a ratio of 6: 2: 1: 1. It's just one way, and there are other ways. However, practice has proved that this method of preparation is not bad.

two。 Temperature

Naturally, it should be within the appropriate range. It is important to note, however, that depending on the time of day, the appropriate temperature range can also help. Generally speaking, it needs to be kept at 20 to 25 degrees during the day and 15 to 20 degrees at night. These two ranges are clearly defined, and appropriate cooling should be taken when the temperature is too high, and heat preservation measures should be taken when the temperature is too low.

3. Light

If you want it to grow leaves quickly, good light must be guaranteed. However, the light should not be too strong. When the light is not too strong, put it in a place with good light. Starting from May, the temperature will gradually rise and the light will become stronger and stronger. In that case, the transmittance must be constantly adjusted to ensure its normal growth.

4. Humidity

First of all, it is air, which is more advantageous around 60%. In the hot season, you can sprinkle some water on the ground. As for watering, the requirements are relatively strict. When the pot soil is dry, it is naturally not conducive to its rapid growth of leaves. However, if there is too much water, it is easy to cause disease. Therefore, it must be in the right amount.
