In recent years, the practice of rural informatization in China has achieved certain results, but there are still many problems and difficulties, mainly reflected in the uneven development, the lack of grass-roots information professionals and so on. On the 14th, Lin Shuiqi, deputy to the National people's Congress and chairman of Guangdong Jinling Sugar Group Co., Ltd., said in an interview with reporters.

Lin Shuiqi said that in 2015, the Central Committee's No. 1 document clearly proposed to "continue to comprehensively deepen rural reform and comprehensively promote the construction of the rule of law in rural areas." promote the simultaneous development of new industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, "establish a traceable, interconnected and shared agricultural product quality and food safety information platform", and use information means to organize the development of agricultural production and operation, medical and health services. Promote the entry of information into villages, households, etc.

This puts forward higher requirements for the development of agricultural informatization. At present, the practice of rural informatization is mainly faced with four major problems: first, the application of agriculture-related characteristic information needs to be further strengthened and deepened; second, the imbalance of regional economic development leads to the imbalance of informatization development; third, the information awareness of farmers and some grass-roots leaders is not compatible with the effective development of agricultural information services; fourth, the lack of grass-roots information professionals.

To this end, it is suggested that the relevant state departments: speed up the construction of information infrastructure. We will promote the entry of broadband networks into townships and villages, and rural information networks into people, and provide information services such as digital television, broadband Internet access, mobile 3G, online affairs, and sunny government affairs, so as to solve the problem of "the last kilometer" of information entering villages and households; it is necessary to improve the informationization ability of rural public services and raise the level of informationization of agricultural management. We will rapidly promote the informationization of agriculture-related enterprises, farmers' professional cooperatives and family farms, and further improve the comprehensive information service system in rural areas. We will further improve the comprehensive rural information service system at the city, county, township and village levels, and increase policy and financial support. Governments at all levels should include the development of informatization in important livelihood projects and vigorously support the construction of rural informatization. At the same time, the central government should increase policy and financial support to backward areas, actively explore the operation mode of rural informatization development, ensure the sustained and sound development of rural informatization, and promote the sound and rapid development of rural economy.
