On March 14, a forum on the coordinated development of modern agriculture in Beijing was held in Beijing, at which the Beijing Municipal Rural work Committee, the Tianjin Rural work Committee and the Department of Agriculture of Hebei Province signed the Framework Agreement on promoting the coordinated Development of Modern Agriculture in Beijing. the aim is to promote the coordinated development of regional modern agriculture.

In order to further implement the national strategy for the coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, the three places signed an agreement based on the principle of "complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual benefit and common development", aiming to give full play to the advantages of all parties and promote the rapid development of modern agriculture in the three places. we will further improve the quality and safety level of agricultural products in the three places and the supply guarantee capacity of agricultural products markets in large and medium-sized cities.

According to the framework agreement, Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei will highlight the functional orientation of agriculture in big cities, jointly explore various forms of realization of urban agriculture, and focus on exchanges and cooperation in seed agriculture, exhibition agriculture, sightseeing and leisure agriculture, and gully economy, and jointly develop the production, life and ecological functions of agriculture.

At the same time, the three places will give full play to the comparative advantages of all parties and carry out exchanges and cooperation in promoting agricultural modernization and "going out" of agriculture, focusing on the promotion of new agricultural technologies, new varieties and new facilities, and joint prevention and control of animal and plant diseases. and carry out scientific research cooperation in water-saving agriculture, circular agriculture, and low-carbon agricultural development. And actively create a cooperation platform, guide agricultural enterprises to "go out", develop both international and domestic markets, and make use of both international and domestic resources.

In addition, the three places will actively promote cooperation in the production and marketing of agricultural products around the characteristics of the consumer market in super-large cities. To meet the needs of "vegetable baskets", "rice bags" and "fruit plates" in the three provinces and cities, strengthen the construction of production and processing bases and market circulation systems for agricultural products, promote agricultural batch docking, agricultural super docking, and agricultural cooperative docking, promote the brand construction of agricultural products, and ensure the quality and safety of agricultural products.

At the forum, after full consultation, the three departments determined that the key points of cooperation between Beijing and Tianjin are to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in agricultural science and technology, strengthen international economic and trade cooperation in agriculture, strengthen the construction of modern urban agriculture, strengthen cooperation in the production and marketing of agricultural products, strengthen the supervision of the quality and safety of agricultural products and strengthen the coordinated development of agricultural and rural work. The key points of Tianjin-Hebei cooperation are as follows: strengthening the construction of agricultural production bases around Tianjin, strengthening cooperation among leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization, promoting the docking of production and marketing of agricultural products, strengthening cooperation in agricultural scientific and technological innovation, strengthening the supervision of the quality and safety of agricultural products, and carrying out cooperation in the prevention and control of animal diseases.
