With the advancement of urbanization, young and middle-aged rural groups have found suitable jobs in cities and enterprises, and more farmland is managed by the left-behind elderly. This "old farming" situation objectively accelerated the process of rural land circulation. The author visits Zaoyang City, Hubei Province, which has won the title of National Advanced Unit of Grain Production for five consecutive years, and listens to the voice of farmers. Farmers have great expectations for land circulation, but there are also "six fears and six worries".

I am afraid that there is no agreement on private circulation, and I am worried that oral agreements will lead to disputes. In some places, due to their remote location, there is no large company to transfer the land management right as a whole. Some of them are only short-term behaviors between households, oral agreements, transfer time, circulation business scope, etc. are not clearly defined. After the land circulation, some arbitrarily changed the land use to cause dissatisfaction with the other party; some had just invested in the land, and the transferred party had to take it back, resulting in numerous contradictions and disputes.

Second, I am afraid that the circulation company has no strength, and I am worried that the circulation cost is not guaranteed. In recent years, a large amount of capital has gone to the countryside to engage in land circulation. Some large companies have strong capital and local government support, farmers are more assured. However, some of the transfer parties are only farmers in nearby villages or local areas, and their strength is average. Some of them are established in the form of cooperatives. The purpose of transferring land is to use land as a capital declaration project to obtain loans. For such circulation, farmers worry that it is difficult to cash in the circulation expenses after land circulation.

Third, I am afraid that the land will be transferred to other uses and that grain subsidies will not be distributed. Some of the transferred land has been planted with fruit trees or dug fish ponds. Farmers are worried that conventional crops such as wheat, corn and rice will not be planted. What should we do if the "direct grain supplement" is not distributed?

Fourth, I am afraid that the land circulation has nothing to do and that the source of livelihood is not guaranteed. These cases are mainly of subsistence farmers aged between 50 and 65 who are no longer wanted for work outside the home. To plant the land to others, one is that there is a sense of emptiness in my heart, and the other is that the annual circulation fee of about 500 yuan per mu is too small. I can earn thousands of yuan per mu at will.

Fifth, fear that the transferred land will be mortgaged and that the transferred land will be confiscated. After the land is transferred by enterprises, farmers worry that these enterprises are not mainly engaged in farming, but in disguised form of enclosure, farm construction and breeding farms, and then apply to the higher authorities for loans with this as collateral. Farmers worry that if the transfer enterprise goes bankrupt or mismanages, the mortgaged land will be confiscated by the bank or debtor, where will the farmers go to argue?

Sixth, I am afraid that the circulation time is long and it is difficult to recover when the circulation expires. The contract signed by both parties is generally more than 10 years. Farmers worry that the circulation time is too long and it is difficult to recover the management right after the expiration. Some circulation parties have built houses and planted precious trees on the circulation land, whose value is difficult to calculate. If the contract expires, the circulating party is unwilling to withdraw for various reasons such as business loss, compensation for building demolition, compensation for tree relocation, etc. Farmers, as vulnerable groups, are difficult to argue.
