Last Updated: 2024/11/05, In order to make it easier for some of its varieties to survive, cuttings can generally be used to reproduce. After its lateral buds grow, they can be taken down and planted in the river sand. After 20 or 30 days, they can grow roots, and after two or three leaves grow, they will transplant, and careful maintenance will do.

First, take the lateral buds

This kind of flower usually propagates by sowing. Because some of its double varieties are not easy to bear fruit, it is used in this way in order not to deteriorate its quality or to be crossed.

After it grows flowers, usually in May or June, we can carefully remove its lateral buds in its basal leaf axils, then clean its leaves to help it reduce water volatilization, and plant it in clean river sand. Pour it a little more water, and then put it in a cool area to prevent it from being exposed to the sun. If the original plant does not grow lateral buds, more than ten centimeters of the stem can be removed and cut off, which can help it grow lateral buds.

Second, false planting

It can take root in about 20 or 30 days, and flowers can grow in five to six months. When it grows two or three true leaves, it is necessary to transplant it, which is also called false planting. You can use a basin with a larger mouth to plant, mix the rotten leaves and garden soil with sand, and move the seedlings in, with a distance of three centimeters between each tree, and bring more soil to the roots. Don't clean it up, so it's easier to survive.

III. Post-planting management

After transplanting, water it thoroughly with a sprinkler with a small hole, and never wash it with a violent water column, in case the seedling is washed out of the soil, or the soil on the root is washed away, then put it in a cool area and continue to keep the soil wet. wait until seven days later, slow the seedling can be placed in the sun to grow.
