Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Sakura is a flower that is very popular with friends. Today, I would like to introduce to you what to do if it gets sick. First of all, score clearly what disease it has, if it is white spot, cut off the diseased leaves, use drug spraying and increase the application of P, K fertilizer; if gray mold, cut off and destroy the diseased flowers with its leaves, and then spray with medicine; if the black thrips can be directly sprayed with medicine.

1. Powdery mildew

The disease mainly harms the leaves of flowers, and sometimes stems and petioles are also damaged. At the beginning of the disease, white spots appear on the leaf surface, and its ability to spread is so strong that it can connect all the spots in a very short time. Without treatment for a long time, the leaves will slowly turn yellow and wither. This disease is easy to occur when the air circulation is not good, and the environment is too humid and the temperature is too high.

Prevention and treatment: after the occurrence, the seriously diseased branches and leaves can be pruned off first, and at the same time, drugs should be sprayed to increase the application of phosphorus and potash fertilizer; after winter, all the diseased branches and leaves can be cut off and cleaned up. When daily maintenance, be sure to choose a place with good air circulation for display, and fans can be used to increase ventilation in summer.

2. Grey mold

The disease will mainly occur in the flowers, the initial flowers will have small spots, and then slowly spread, causing the whole flower to change color and fester; its leaves are also damaged, just like the flowers. The disease is also easy to occur in an overly humid environment, and the disease can be latent in winter and secondary to the following year.

Prevention and treatment: at the initial stage of the disease, the diseased flowers and leaves should be cut off and destroyed, and then drugs should be used to control the humidity around them; daily watering should be carried out in the morning as far as possible.

3. Black-horned thrips

This pest survives mainly by sucking plant juice, causing flowers to wither and fall ahead of time.

Prevention and treatment: spray with drugs
