Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Orchid posture is elegant, fragrant and elegant, the ability to divide is relatively strong, many families will put one on their own balcony. However, if you want to make it blossom, simple nursing is not enough. it is necessary to ensure that its growth environment is warm, humid and fertile, preferably acidic soil, put in a semi-shady place, replenish water in time, but not too much, prevent rain in time in the rainy season, and don't let it be waterlogged.

1. Place

Because orchids are not particularly strict about temperature, it is no problem to put them in the open air in the milder spring, summer and autumn, and it should be moved to the shade in summer with high UV intensity. In winter, it is best to put it indoors, even outdoors should keep the surrounding space, air circulation and moist, put indoors to have sufficient light time, preferably the sunrise side, pay attention to it on the flower rack or table stool, do not put it on the ground.

2. Shade

Orchids like semi-shaded environment, afraid of direct sunlight, and need proper shade when breeding. In the first and middle of April, the light intensity is low, so the exposure time can be increased appropriately, and the illuminance will be controlled after late April. After entering summer from June to September, shading measures should be taken to make it grow naturally in a semi-overcast state. When the weather turns cool in October, when the sun is hot, it can reduce the shading time and receive more sunshine.

3. Rain protection

Every kind of plant is afraid of waterlogging. if it is caught in too much rain, the stagnant water in the basin can easily lead to the death of the plant. It can be caught in light rain, but it should avoid mildew, showers and continuous rain, especially in the south. Rain Water should take shelter from the rain in time in many seasons, and at the same time pay attention to the discharge of hot air in the basin, otherwise it will damage the orchid, you can sprinkle some plant ash to adjust the humidity.

4. Watering

For orchids, each watering can reach eight percent humidity. During the growing period, attention should be paid to replenishing water in time, and the amount of water should be reduced at the stage of leaf bud emergence and flowering. Orchids go dormant in winter, with little or no watering.
