Gentleman orchid

Usually, mature orchids sprout new buds on the rhizome every year. When changing pots for Cymbidium in spring, you can separate these new buds and plant them in other flowerpots, take good care of them, and there will be a new flower in a few days.

The ramet method of Cymbidium:

1. Remove the orchid from the basin and be careful not to hurt its roots and buds.

2. Clean up the soil of the root system and break off the buds carefully. it is best to take part of the root system, which is conducive to survival.

3. Clean the root system and cut off the diseased root and the old root. And put some carbendazim powder on the wound.

4. Put the orchid in a ventilated place to dry. At the same time, the basin soil suitable for the growth of Cymbidium was prepared, and the basin soil was made according to the ratio of rotten leaf soil: pine needle soil: river sand = 3:2:1. For rootless buds, it is necessary to increase the proportion of sand. Then plant the magnolia into the soil.

5. Water until the water can seep out from the permeable hole at the bottom of the flowerpot. Put the orchid in a cool and ventilated place, be careful not to put it in the sun, wait for new leaves to grow, you can maintain it normally!

Lily flower

Because lilies are bulbous flowers, they grow a small bulb on the periphery of the old lily bulb, which is the material for our ramets.

The method of dividing lilies:

1. Before the dormant period after the lily withered, remove the lily from the pot, gently shake off the soil, and rinse the root with clean water.

2. Separate the bulbs with a sterilized and sharp knife, preferably with some roots on each bulb, so as to survive in the later stage.

3. Disinfect the seed balls to be divided into carbendazim solution (carbendazim: water = 1) for 20 minutes and 30 minutes. After disinfection, the bulbs are dried and stored in the sand. To choose fertile and loose soil, you can configure the soil according to the ratio of peat soil: river sand: sawdust = 6:3:1, and some slow-release fertilizer can be added to the bottom of the soil as base fertilizer.

4. Cover the soil after planting the bulb. If possible, the flower friends can apply some base fertilizer, pour through the water and put it in a cool and ventilated place. New buds will appear in about 3 or 4 weeks, during which time the soil should be kept slightly moist.

Asparagus asparagus

Asparagus will continue to grow with the growth of new plants, if the original pot can not hold, it is necessary to change the pot or ramet, otherwise it is not conducive to the growth of asparagus, but also may cause rotten roots and yellow leaves and other problems.

The ramet method of asparagus:

1. Clean up the soil in the flowerpot carefully, be careful not to hurt the root system, and finally take out the whole plant. Gently pat the roots with your hands, pat the soil off, move gently, and finally rinse with water.

2. Find the node where the root is born, and break it gently. If you can't break it off, you may be looking for the wrong place, don't break it with brute force, find the node again. Pay attention to the choice of asparagus not too small.

3. Sprinkle some charcoal powder or soot on the wound, then leave it in a cool and ventilated place to dry. After the roots have dried, you can put them back on the pot.

4. To prevent rotting roots, lay a layer of ceramsite at the bottom of the flowerpot. Put a layer of soil on top of ceramsite, and the soil can be mixed with organic fertilizer as base fertilizer. Note that asparagus likes loose and fertile soil, and the basin soil can be configured according to the ratio of rotten leaf soil: coarse sand = 7:3.

5. After putting the asparagus, gently shake the plant, fill in the basin soil that has been arranged in advance, and finally gently compact the basin soil with your hands. Be careful to water thoroughly when watering. After that, put the asparagus in a cool and ventilated place for about 7 days.

Hanging orchid

In the process of growth, small orchids will grow out of the branches. We can use these small orchids to split.

The ramification method of Cymbidium:

1. Find the newly born small hanging orchid and cut it off.

2. Choose the flowerpot with large permeable hole, insert newspaper and tile to cover the pervious hole at the bottom, and cover the bottom with a layer of ceramsite as drainage layer.

3, the small orchid buried in the loose and fertile soil, do not need to be buried too deep, 1-2 cm, watering thoroughly.

4. Put the planted small orchids in a cool and ventilated place and normal maintenance can be carried out after about a week.
