Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Many flower friends do not know how to maintain cyclamen in winter, in fact, it is not difficult. First of all, we have to give it a suitable temperature, 15℃-18℃ is the best; secondly, we have to give it fertilizer, different from other flowers, it will bloom in winter, consume nutrients, so supplement in advance; moreover, we must pay attention to light, must be sufficient; finally, we must pay attention to hydration, not too much nor too little.

1. Temperature

Winter is the time when it blossoms, especially in December, so we can't let it stay in a place where the temperature is very low. Generally speaking, we have to keep the temperature between fifteen and eighteen. If we can't meet this requirement, don't make it lower than ten degrees. In addition, we also need to be careful not to be too high, because this will shorten its blooming time, and finally, we should also be careful not to put it on the radiator to keep warm.

2. Fertilization

Because it needs a lot of nutrients when it blossoms, that is, in winter, we need to give it enough fertilizer. Generally speaking, we need to apply fertilizer every two weeks or so. We need both potassium, nitrogen and phosphorus, but it would be better to have more of the latter. The specific amount of fertilizer is about three or four grams for relatively large plants.

3. Lighting

Because it likes light more, we also understand that there is less light in winter, so once there is sunshine, we have to put it under the sun. In addition, if there are few light sources for a long time, we can also give it some artificial light.

4. Moisture

Water is indispensable in winter, because if there is less water, it will affect its flowering, and there should be a certain degree of water replenishment, so we need to pay attention to wait until the soil is dry before replenishing it. Each replenishment can not stop until its bottom begins to seep. Also pay attention to the water can not be poured on its stem, in addition, the water quality and water temperature also need to be controlled.
