Last Updated: 2024/11/06, Hydroponic cultivation of copper grass is something that many people want to raise, but many people are complaining that the leaves are yellow in the process. Today, we will solve this problem. First of all, the solution should be determined according to the reason: if the problem is caused by water quality, replace clean fresh water for it, and then replace it regularly; if it is lack of nutrients, you can add nutrient solution in time; if it is lack of light, you can move it to a place where it can shine; if it is too closed, you can put it in a well-ventilated place. If the temperature is not right, it can be adjusted to 10 ℃-25 ℃.

1. Water

Water is not clean is a big reason, because once the quality of water problems, it is easy to let its roots rot, thus making its leaves yellow. Generally we have to remember that in summer it is three to five days to change the water, and in winter it is ten days and a half to change the water. Note that changing the water does not remove all of it, we only need to replace two-thirds of it with new ones. If you haven't changed your water for a long time, change it quickly.

2. Nutrients

Of course, it is also very likely that its leaves turn yellow because of the lack of nutrients, so we have to add nutrient solution to it when changing water, so as to alleviate this symptom. Then we need to shake it gently, so that the water will contain more oxygen, and then the roots will grow much faster.

Excess nutrients were also a major factor, because too much nutrient solution was usually added to it and was not used completely, so some microorganisms would also grow in it, and at this time, they would also rob the nutrients of the plants. On this basis, if we don't change the water, we will find that its roots are covered with sticky things.

3. Light

Light is one of the big influencing factors, we usually have to put it in a place with light, otherwise it is likely to have only yellow leaves. In winter we put it outside the house, so that it can be exposed to light, generally 10 o 'clock light is better, and the sun time span needs an hour. In addition, summer can not be too sun, so put in the sun can not directly reach the place is good.

4. Ventilation

Ventilation is also something to do, because better air is very useful for its growth, generally it is not placed in a ventilated place with light, it is easy to let yellow leaves come out.

5. Temperature

Temperature control is needed, because it is afraid of cold, and warm places can make it grow better, so we should determine the location, especially in the north, the temperature is relatively low, it can not survive the winter, yellow leaves are also reasonable, so we have to get a cover to cover it up, maintain enough temperature. In spring, it can be adjusted to between 10℃ and 25 ℃, which can make it grow better.
