Last Updated: 2024/11/08, I believe that many friends want to grow lilies of the valley, but there is no way to start. In fact, as long as we prepare slightly sour and thick flower soil and slightly wet conditions in spring, we can carry out planting. First of all, cut its seed ball into small pieces, each with a bud, and then plant it into the flower soil we have prepared, then cover it with a layer of soil and take care of it. In the second year, it will be able to produce beautiful flowers.

1. Environment

The land we choose for it has certain requirements, and its living conditions must be met, which must not be very different from its growth habits. Because it does not have a high demand for soil, so we just need to give it fertile and slightly acidic, while the surrounding environment needs to be cool and humid. In such an environment, it can grow better, and the quality of flowers will be higher.

2. Season

Generally speaking, we need to control the time when we plant the ball, it is better for us to plant it in spring, and of course it is feasible before thawing in autumn. I would like to say here that if the ball is not treated at a low temperature, it may take about a month to germinate, and a delay in time may cause it to miss the normal growth opportunity.

In order to avoid this situation, we can bask the ball in advance, then store it in dry soil and plant it next year, keeping in mind that the temperature is between zero and five degrees, so we can also put it in the refrigerator. Besides, we'd better take it out from time to time to prevent it from rotting.

3. Methods

First of all, we take out the seed ball of the valley of the valley, and then cut it into small pieces. Each piece needs to bring buds, because even if it is planted without buds, it cannot grow, so you must pay special attention to it.

And then bury it in the flower soil we prepared. The flower soil can dig holes in advance, put the piece into it when planting, and then cover it with a thin layer of soil. Be careful that the soil is not too thick, otherwise it will make it more difficult to sprout. Finally, put it in a cool and slightly wet place for maintenance.

When all the external conditions meet the requirements, it will grow safely and usually blossom in the next year.
