The minimum purchase prices of early indica rice (third grade, the same below), medium and late indica rice and japonica rice were raised to 120 yuan, 125 yuan and 140 yuan per 50 kg, respectively, 18 yuan, 18 yuan and 12 yuan higher than in 2011. As the sowing of early indica rice is imminent, all localities should do a good job in propaganda work to arouse farmers' enthusiasm for growing grain and promote the stable development of grain production.
