Continuous low temperature and overcast rain in the south pay attention to prevent adverse effects on crops

According to the forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory: from the 8th to the 9th, most of Jiangnan, South China, and Southwest China will be overcast and rainy, with light to moderate rain and local heavy rain; the average daily temperature in spring sowing areas such as Jianghan, Jianghan and the central and northern part of the Yangtze River will be lower than 12 ℃.

Weather experts warn that in the near future, the temperature in the southern region will remain on the low side, and the public should pay attention to measures to keep warm, especially the elderly, children and people with weaker physique; in addition, spring sowing areas should pay attention to guard against the adverse effects of persistent low temperatures on crops.

Starting from the 10th, temperatures in Jiangnan and other places began to pick up slowly.

From 08:00 on the 8th to 08:00 on the 9th, Lesser Snow or sleet occurred in northeastern Inner Mongolia, northern Heilongjiang, central and northern Xizang, southern Qinghai, western Sichuan Plateau, northern Shanxi and other places; there was light to moderate rain in central North China, southeast and southwest of Xizang, and most areas south of the Yangtze River, with heavy to heavy rain in southern Yunnan. There are strong winds of force 7 to 8 and gust 9 in the Taiwan Strait and the northeastern South China Sea.

From 08:00 to 08:00 on the 9th, there was Lesser Snow or sleet in eastern Xizang, southern Qinghai, western Sichuan Plateau, northeastern Inner Mongolia, most of Heilongjiang, and eastern Jilin; there was light to moderate rain in the southwest, most of Jiangnan, most of South China, southern North China, and southeastern Xizang, among which there was heavy rain in southern Yunnan.

From 08:00 on the 10th to 08:00 on the 11th, Lesser Snow or sleet occurred in eastern Xizang, southern Qinghai, western Sichuan Plateau, northeastern Inner Mongolia, and most of Heilongjiang; moderate to heavy rain occurred in southern Sichuan Basin, southeastern Yunnan, southern Jiangnan, central and northern China, with heavy rain (50,60mm) in northern Guangdong. There are 4-6 winds in some areas such as western Inner Mongolia. There are northeasterly winds of 6-8 and 9 gusts in the Taiwan Strait.
