Last Updated: 2024/11/05, We know that green pineapple grows fast in spring, so we don't need to worry too much. But this does not mean that we can not take good care of it, otherwise something will still go wrong. So, how do we usually raise it in spring? First of all, we should give it a certain amount of scattered light, let it receive light in the morning and evening, secondly, give it enough water, and then fatten it every 15 days, and finally put it in a ventilated position, so that it can grow well in spring!

1. Lighting

It is a plant that doesn't need much light. But spring is the most important period for its growth, and at this time we must not let it lack of light, otherwise it will not only slow down its growth rate, but also make its leaves yellow and lifeless.

We can't give it direct sunlight, or it will cause its new leaves to be very small, the color is not obvious, and the leaves are likely to be burned. Therefore, usually we can give it scattered light, generally we put it under the scattered light in the morning and evening is better.

2. Watering

We should give it plenty of water in spring. Sometimes the moisture may be steamed off a little quickly, so we should replenish it in time. Usually, we should spray a little water on its leaves and add some water to its soil, but we should be careful not to give too much water, otherwise it will cause its roots to rot and the leaves will wither. once it is watered too much, some measures should be taken to deal with it in time, such as ventilation or changing the soil.

3. Fertilization

Fertilization is also very important. In spring, we probably need to add flower fertilizer to it every 15 days, so that it will grow faster. The flower fertilizer on the leaves is also needed, so that the leaves will not lack nutrients. Of course, it is also necessary to change the pot in the spring, but we can't fertilize it at will after changing the pot, because its root can't be absorbed immediately, so it has to be empty for a period of time.

4. Ventilation

Ventilation also has a great impact on it, and we'd better keep it outdoors in spring, because the wind speed is larger and it is better for its growth. Generally speaking, if it stays in an unventilated place for a long time, it will cause its leaves to turn yellow, and the color is darker, and it may also cause it to grow black spots.
