Last Updated: 2024/11/05, Many flower friends in the home of the gardenia has not been raised for a long time, but has not yet germinated, so when will it sprout? This question needs to be answered in two situations: the first is how long it will germinate after sowing, which is usually about 20 days; the second is how long it will germinate after pruning, which is usually about a week.

1. When will it sprout after sowing

The sowing time of this kind of flower is mainly divided into spring and autumn, spring sowing time before and after Rain Water, and autumn sowing time around the Autumn Equinox, mainly spring sowing.

Usually, three weeks after we sow, seedlings will grow out, and in about a month, basically all of them will grow out. However, this is not absolute, and there may be errors due to different factors such as seed quality and temperature, which we will discuss in detail below.

2. When will it sprout after pruning

In order to let it send out new buds, we usually cut off some unnecessary branches of flowers, and the flowers that have been pruned will soon grow new buds.

And these new buds, when properly maintained, can sprout in less than a week.

3. Influencing factors

Why do some flowers sprout quickly while others sprout slowly? In fact, it has something to do with its own type and quality, as well as the conditions for raising it.

First of all, let's talk about internal causes. If there is a quality problem with its seeds, not to mention slow germination, it is not surprising that it does not germinate. In addition, there are some special varieties that sprout slowly, and there is nothing we can do about it.

Next, let's talk about external causes. The external cause here mainly refers to the temperature, if it is not appropriate, it is impossible to sprout. Usually we keep it in the range of 18-22 ℃, which ensures that it will not sprout slowly or not because of the temperature.
