Last Updated: 2024/11/05, The weather is getting warmer and warmer and the rose is ready to blossom! It's just that many flower friends have very few kinds of roses in their homes. What should I do? Don't worry, today Huahua has sorted out the most complete rose cutting method in history. If you learn a trick, you will be able to change one pot into 100 pots!

Water insertion of rose flowers

Procedure:

1. The water cutting method that Huahua will introduce today is called in-bottle sponge cutting. it needs to prepare sponges, plastic bottles, cutting branches and a pair of sharp scissors in advance.

2. Cut the sponge into 3cm with scissors. The width and height of the sponge are all 2cm. Then find a long nail and pierce a hole along the height of 3cm. The size of the perforation is about the size of the rose branch.

3. Gently pass the rose branches that need to be cut through the sponge, and insert the depth of the sponge into about 2 of the sponge.

4. Put the rose branches and sponge pieces together in a plastic bottle, gently fiddle with the branches with chopsticks to stretch the rose leaves as far as possible, and then slowly pour clean water into the bottle. It is best to cool and boil, adding water at a depth of about 2x3 of the sponge.

5. Tear off the wrapping paper of the plastic bottle so that the rose leaves can carry out photosynthesis, and then put it on the south balcony to receive sufficient light. The bottle cap is not needed for ventilation.

6. If the light is strong, the water temperature in the bottle will rise. At this time, find a black plastic bag to wrap the bottom of the bottle, so that the rose branches can take root more quickly.

7. After the roses are rooted, the roses are put into the basin together with sponges, and the soil can choose loose and breathable nutrient soil, which can be arranged with peat soil and perlite according to the ratio of 2: 1, and can be maintained normally after going into the basin.

Chinese rose is planted in soil.

Procedure:

1. Cut the sturdy branches from the rose plant, and the best cuttings are the flowering branches, because the flowering branches are more nutritious and rooting is the fastest.

2. Cut the branches short with sharp scissors, about 5-7cm in length. It is best to keep 2 pairs of leaves to help cuttings sprout as soon as possible.

3. Soak the pruned rose branches in carbendazim solution for about 5-10 minutes, which is beneficial to sterilization.

4. After soaking, remove the branches and put them in a cool and ventilated place to dry slightly.

5. The soil prepared for cutting can be mixed with perlite and coconut bran in the ratio of 1: 1 to form nutritious soil. The soil must be compacted. If it is too loose, the water retention will become worse.

6. If you want the rose to take root faster, you can dip the lower end of the rose branch in a little rooting water, and then insert it into the prepared nutrient soil.

7. put the cutting rose branches in a place with good scattered light, about 3-5 days, you can spray foliar fertilizer once, and it only takes 10 days for rose branches to take root.

Rose high-altitude pressing strip

Procedure:

1. First prepare a pair of scissors, a sharp blade, an empty plastic bottle and transparent tape.

2. Cut the plastic bottle from the opening with scissors, cut it vertically all the time, and then cut off the bottom of the bottle.

3. For the high-altitude crimping of the rose, be sure to choose those sturdy branches that year, so that it is easier to take root, and then peel the branches around.

4. Put the cut plastic bottle opening down, put it on the rose cutter, fill the lower end with foam bench permeable material, and then wrap tape around the outside of the bottle until the bottle mouth is completely sealed.

5. Fill the bottle completely with perlite, vermiculite, river sand and other things prepared in advance, and then pour water through it for several times.

6. Finally, find a plastic bag and wrap the seal of the plastic bottle completely to achieve the purpose of heat preservation and moisturization.

7. when it is found that the root system of the rose is full of the whole bottle, just cut the rose branch short from the base.

8. Put the cut rose cuttings in a cool and ventilated place for about a week, then cut off the plastic bottle, put it back on the pot, and become a new rose!
