In 2015, the Ministry of Agriculture will add 2 demonstration provinces, 7 demonstration cities and 187 demonstration counties as key demonstration areas for the cultivation of new professional farmers. As a result, the scale of the national demonstration on the cultivation of new professional farmers has been expanded to 4 provinces, 21 cities and 487 demonstration counties.

In 2014, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Agriculture jointly launched a new professional farmer training project, carried out demonstration cultivation in 300 counties, and selected 14 cities and Shaanxi and Shanxi provinces to promote it as a whole. relying on the advantages of complete organization, sound system, wide coverage, close to the grass-roots level and rich experience, we will speed up the exploration of training methods and systems suitable for different regions and different levels of economic development. Centering on the cultivation goal of "three kinds of coordination" of production and operation type, professional skill type and social service type, we should actively construct a new type of professional peasant cultivation system of "trinity" of education and training, identification and management and policy support. With the continuous promotion of agricultural departments at all levels, the cultivation of a new type of professional farmers has gone through the key stage of breaking the problem and setting the topic, which has laid a solid foundation for all aspects of promotion. In 2015, the education and training of farmers across the country took the initiative to adapt to the new normal of economic development, increased the overall promotion of Hunan Province, Jiangsu Province and 14 cities, and rolled out the project to cultivate new professional farmers. The main task of each demonstration area is to cultivate professional farmers of production and management type, take into account the training of professional skills and social service-oriented professional farmers, and give full play to the role of demonstration. Strengthen the implementation management, innovate the cultivation mode, improve the cultivation quality, and speed up the establishment of a new type of professional peasant training system of "trinity, three types of coordination, and three levels of integration". Efforts should be made to cultivate a new type of professional farmers with culture, technology and management, so as to provide strong talent support for the development of modern agriculture.

In order to promote the cultivation work this year and ensure the quality and effectiveness of the project, the Ministry of Agriculture will launch the basic construction of cloud platform for intelligent farmers, teacher capital bank, high-quality courses, high-quality teaching materials, professional farmers' entrepreneurship base (park), and so on. All localities will also rely on farmers' science and technology education and training centers (agricultural radio and television schools) to actively promote all kinds of infrastructure work, establish a new type of professional farmer training lecturer group and teacher pool, integrate high-quality resources, and improve relevant systems. to create a new type of high-quality professional peasant training teachers. Relying on new main bodies of agricultural production and operation, such as agricultural parks, agricultural enterprises, and farmers' cooperatives, we should speed up the construction of farmers' field schools and adopt heuristic, participatory and interactive training methods to promote the extension of grass-roots schools to the industrial chain and train new professional farmers on the industrial chain.
