Sales and service models accelerate changes.

According to the forecast and scheduling, under the background of "changing mode and adjusting structure" and the guidance of market demand, the planting area of main crops sown in spring and summer shows the following characteristics: the planting area of corn and conventional rice will increase, the planting area of soybean and potato will be basically stable, and the planting area of hybrid rice and cotton will decline.

It is estimated that the total demand for commercial seeds of crops sown in spring and summer is about 1.2 billion kg of hybrid corn seeds and 210 million kg of hybrid rice seeds. 6.3 million kg of hybrid cotton seeds, 95 million kg of conventional cotton commercial seeds, 700 million kg of conventional rice commercial seeds and 300 million kg of soybean commercial seeds.

The seeds of major crops are of high quality and sufficient quantity.

According to the situation of local dispatching, the seed supply of each crop is sufficient, and the overall surplus of hybrid seeds is still serious. The total seed supply of major crops sown in spring and summer this year is 2 billion kg of corn seeds, 337 million kg of hybrid rice seeds, 830 million kg of conventional rice seeds, 490 million kg of soybean seeds, 7 million kg of hybrid cotton seeds and 140 million kg of conventional cotton seeds. The total supply and the supply of most varieties have exceeded the demand.

It is expected that after spring and summer sowing, the end-of-period inventory of corn seeds will fall back near the inventory warning line, but the end-of-period inventory of hybrid rice seeds will still be 10% higher than the inventory warning line.

Speed up the renewal of varieties

On the whole, seed market prices are basically the same as last year, seed prices have intensified differentiation among regions and varieties, seed prices in South and Southwest China have risen steadily, and seed prices in Northwest, East, North and Southeast regions are basically the same. seed prices in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River and Huang-Huai-Hai region have declined steadily.

There are three outstanding characteristics in the market this year: first, the pricing of the newly approved varieties is relatively high, and as soon as they are listed, they will be spread in a large area in suitable areas; second, the prices of high-quality rice varieties, corn varieties suitable for machine harvest, special-purpose varieties, and varieties with excellent performance last year have risen, which have been favored by farmers; third, the leading varieties in the market have declined to varying degrees in most areas in the past few years. At present, the national retail price of seeds is as follows: hybrid corn 24.7 yuan / kg, hybrid rice 63.83 yuan / kg, conventional rice 6.63 yuan / kg, soybean 6.52 yuan / kg, hybrid cotton 237.56 yuan / kg, conventional cotton 30.3 yuan / kg.

Accelerate the change of marketing service mode

In recent years, the traditional step-by-step agency sales and store "sales" marketing mode is changing, enterprises have increased sales and model innovation. There are four new types of representativeness:

One is to look at the "predetermined" sales. Many enterprises have carefully set up variety planting model fields, organized farmers to observe the planting field, and negotiated and signed pre-sale contracts with farmers.

Third, visual media "bombardment" sales. Some enterprises cooperate with television stations and other media units to intensively broadcast variety display and service advertisements at the best time, so as to win the approval of farmers for direct seed marketing.

Fourth, e-commerce brick-and-mortar stores "integrated" sales. Enterprises make full use of the network, traceability management to provide growers with full-process solutions, turning physical stores into experience stores and service stations. The common feature of these new sales models is to strengthen after-sales service, reduce circulation links, and give profits to growers, so they are welcomed by thousands of families and start a prairie fire all over the country.
