Academician Zhu Ying made the above remarks at the first China Organic Agriculture Conference held today. Zhou Zejiang, world director of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movement (IFOAM) and vice president of the Asian Council, pointed out at the meeting that organic agriculture has reached the era of 3.0. it is necessary to cultivate carefully and thoroughly in three aspects: protecting resources, especially farmers' resources, such as land, water, seeds, etc. Increase influence, greatly promote the development of organic agriculture to improve the ecological environment, such as fighting soil erosion, dealing with weather changes, etc., so as to produce safe and high-quality food; improve the transparency of all aspects of the development of the organic industry. According to reports, the area of organic agricultural land in China ranks fourth in the world, and the area of organic farmland increased rapidly in 2013, but the per capita organic consumption is less than two euros, so it is necessary to adjust the structure and steady growth to meet new development opportunities.
