2. Pruning

If it is your newly planted cherry bonsai, cut off some branches, because at first it is not nutritious enough, so it can produce more branches and grow more vigorously. If your bonsai is going to blossom, and there are a lot of branches, you should also cut off some dead branches and diseased branches, so that not only the potted plants will be more beautiful, but also the flowers will have more vitality.

Third, watering

It does not like too much water. If there is still a lot of stagnant water in your cherry bonsai, you should drain the water, otherwise the root of the cherry blossom will be easily retted off, and if the root is damaged, the leaves and flowers will not be spared. The amount of water needed in different seasons is different, and if the saplings are too small, don't irrigate too much.

Always pay attention to bonsai, do not lack nutrients, fertilize it once a week, so that the tree will have vitality, branches and leaves will be beautiful. In May and June, 0.1-0.2% potassium dihydrogen phosphate can be sprinkled, and the flowers should be fattened before and after blooming to prepare for the coming year.

V. Prevention and control of diseases and insect pests

Its main symptoms are glue and bad root disease. once these two conditions are found, the soil should be changed in time, water and fertilizer should be matched well, and the branches and leaves that should be removed should be cut. The insects that will appear in its growth are aphids, small red spiders and shell insects. Spraying 3 to 4 times can be very effective. It is recommended to spray once before flowering, once after falling, and the third time in July and August.
