In order to implement the spirit of the 2014 Central Committee No. 1 document on focusing on weak links, speeding up the mechanization of field crop production, accelerating the development of cotton mechanization production, and promoting the integration of crop varieties, cultivation techniques and machinery and equipment, an on-site meeting on cotton mechanization production in the Yellow River Basin will be held in Binzhou City, Shandong Province in mid-October. The relevant matters are hereby notified as follows.

I. contents of the meeting

(1) observe the on-site demonstration of cotton mechanization production in Shandong Province.

(2) Exchange of experiences and plans for the next step in promoting mechanized cotton production in various parts of the cotton area of the Yellow River Basin.

(3) to deploy the mechanization of cotton production.

2. Attendees

(1) responsible comrades of the departments in charge of agricultural mechanization in Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shandong, Henan, Jiangsu, Anhui, Hunan, Hubei, Jiangxi, Shaanxi and Sichuan provinces (cities), and one each of the responsible comrades of agricultural machinery extension stations.

(2) academicians and experts of relevant scientific research institutions and institutions of higher learning.

(3) the relevant responsible comrades of the Agricultural Mechanization Department and the Agricultural Machinery Popularization Station of the Ministry.

IV. Relevant requirements
