On May 19, 2015, the State Grain Administration held a national summer grain and oil purchasing work conference in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Deputy Director Lu Jingbo attended the meeting and delivered a speech. The meeting conscientiously studied the summer grain purchase policy, studied and analyzed the summer grain production, purchase situation and price trend, and made arrangements for the purchase work.

The meeting believed that this year's summer grain will still be a bumper harvest. However, affected by many factors, the overall price of domestic grain and oil market is weaker, and after the new grain is listed on the market, some areas are more likely to start policy acquisitions.

The meeting called on grain administrative departments at all levels to regard the purchase of summer grain as the central task of the current grain circulation work, and earnestly grasp the implementation of various policies and measures. First, it is necessary to make preparations for the acquisition of warehouses, funds, equipment, and personnel training as soon as possible. Second, it is necessary to strictly implement the state's grain purchase policy, conscientiously organize the purchase, keep abreast of the progress of the purchase, and strengthen the supervision and inspection of the implementation of the policy. Third, it is necessary to do a good job in purchasing information services and guide all kinds of enterprises to actively do a good job in market-oriented acquisitions. Fourth, we should actively take measures to improve the quality and level of acquisition services. At the same time, all localities should seize the favorable opportunity of the listing of new grain and seize the implementation of the scale of increasing local reserves.
