A method of planting Straw Mushroom A farmer in Hangzhou grows straw mushroom "turning residue into gold"
Hu Qingyutang is a famous traditional Chinese medicine family in Zhejiang, which produces a large amount of medicine dregs every day.
On rainy nights, Chen Chunlin guards his mushroom shed and gets up every other hour at night to check the temperature and humidity of the mushroom bed.
Chen Chunlin is the general manager of Hangzhou Geluying Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. This is an enterprise specializing in agricultural technology development and achievement transformation, including organic fertilizers, fruits and vegetables, flowers, edible fungi and so on. The mushroom shed, located in Shuangpu Town, Xihu District, is a new project of Chen Chunlin, and some of it has been put into production.
When the reporter came here, the workers were busy with the pretreatment of the base material. Next to the base material yard is a mushroom shed covering an area of more than 1500 square meters, a total of 22, of which 11 have been planted with straw mushrooms and the rest are still building mushroom beds.
In the No. 9 mushroom shed, the temperature is 30 degrees and the temperature of the mushroom bed is 36 degrees. The mushroom bed made of traditional Chinese medicine residue is covered with mycelium, and straw mushrooms of all sizes have protruded their "small heads."
"it can be picked in two days, and dozens of jin can be picked at one time. The shelf life of straw mushrooms is very short and cannot be refrigerated. We send them directly to the Gouzhuang Agricultural products Wholesale Market. The wholesale price is 10 yuan / jin, which becomes 25-30 yuan / jin in the hands of consumers."
Different from ordinary mushroom cultivation, straw mushroom cultivation does not need to be bagged with base material, but is directly cultivated in heap soil, which looks like growing in the ground. Chen Chunlin recommended that the base material of mushroom is not sawdust, straw and wheat bran, but the residue of traditional Chinese medicine from Hu Qingyutang.
No wonder the mushroom shed is filled with a faint fragrance of traditional Chinese medicine.
It turned out that Chen Chunlin used to mainly make garden organic fertilizer, and a large part of the raw material was the residue of traditional Chinese medicine from Hu Qingyutang. After pre-stacking, turning, fermentation, microbial treatment and other processes, the residue became organic fertilizer. "Hu Qingyu Hall sends 30 tons of traditional Chinese medicine dregs every day, and the disposal fee for each ton is 120 yuan."
How did a composting man grow straw mushrooms? This has to start with he Chuanjun, an expert from the Hangzhou Edible Fungi Association.
In May 2018, he Chuanjun passed Chen Chunlin's company after holding an academic conference in Zhuantang. At this time, Chen Chunlin was squatting on the dregs to observe a few gray "little bumps". Even though he came from the mountains of Quzhou, he had never seen such a thing before, giving off a strong smell of mushrooms.
He Chuanjun recognized at a glance: "this is straw mushroom, also known as orchid mushroom, the nutritional value is very high!"
Hearing what he Chuanjun said, Chen Chunlin came up with a bold idea: to grow straw mushrooms with traditional Chinese medicine dregs. "teacher he told me that the cultivation technology of straw mushroom is mature and only needs to be introduced, so I went to Shanghai to buy mushroom seeds and began to plant them on the dregs."
It has been planted in the small mushroom house for more than ten times, and the yield has reached 3 jin / square meter. Such output has reached the standard of mass production. As a result, Chen Chunlin began to build a greenhouse and began the industrialization of straw mushrooms under the guidance of he Chuanjun.
"the environment of the greenhouse is different from that of the small mushroom room, and the technical content is also different. It is necessary to strictly control the time, temperature and humidity. If the temperature is too high, it is easy to burn the mycelium. In those days when the mycelium comes out, you have to run to the mushroom room every other hour." Chen Chunlin said.
He also calculated an account for the reporter that a single mushroom shed covers an area of 80 square meters, and the area of the mushroom bed is 64 square meters, with an output of about 30 yuan per square meter, which usually takes 20 days to produce mushrooms, and can be picked in 50 days for eight seasons, and the output per square meter is 240 yuan.
"Straw mushrooms can be grown all year round, which is equivalent to an increase of 1 yuan per jin of residue, and the residue fermented on the mushroom bed can also be used as organic fertilizer and has higher fertility."
Hu Qingyutang sends 30 tons of dregs every day. With the current production capacity of 11 mushroom sheds, we can't consume so much dregs at all. At present, although it can ensure that fresh mushrooms are listed on the market every day, the scale is still relatively small, and it is difficult to form a scale effect due to excessive reliance on experience.
The considerable economic benefits made Chen Chunlin feel very successful.
Next, Chen Chunlin also has his own "small goal": to double the mushroom shed next year and collect data such as temperature, humidity, pH of base material, and soil carbon-nitrogen ratio of volvariella volvacea growth, to create an intelligent straw mushroom planting base.
The intelligent production of straw mushroom is not easy, where does the technical support come from? How to collect cultivation data of volvariella volvacea? He Chuanjun gave him a reassurance.
"Hangzhou Edible Mushroom Association has listed an 'innovation-driven development experimental base' here. Whenever I have any difficulties, I call teacher he, who can help me solve it immediately, and often come to my greenhouse for face-to-face guidance." Chen Chunlin said.
At the same time, the person in charge of the academic department of the Municipal Association of Science and Technology said that the Automation Association and the Mechanical Engineering Association under the Municipal Association of Science and Technology have a very strong technical force and are willing to do their utmost to help build the wisdom base of straw mushrooms. it will provide expert think tanks and technical support for the scale and industrialization of enterprises.
"the agricultural project lasts for a long time, but the effect is relatively slow. The purpose of the Municipal Association of Science and Technology's' double Thousand 'campaign is to help enterprises develop and grow, not only to give subsidies, but also to send experts, manpower, and teaching technology."
