Walking through the alleys of Yiran Village and bypassing one of the low houses, the Chang Family Garden, one of Taiwan's five major gardens, is hidden in this secluded area. The locals of the Chang Family Garden call him Sanjiazai or Sanxiu Garden, which is the elegant name for Ganoderma lucidum. Because the trees in the early garden often grow Ganoderma lucidum, it is commonly known as "Sanxiu Garden." Sanxiu Garden is located in Yiran Village, Dazheng Township, Yunlin. The name of the village "Yiran" is named by Mr. Zhang Zhenxiang, the owner of the old garden. Mr. Zhang Zhenxiang, an pastoral poet, was elected as the first head of Dazheng Township after World War II. During his term of office, in line with the post-war adjustment policy of the local system of the National Government, the two villages of "Jiuzhuang" and "Houbidian" were merged into the present Yiran Village.
