Last Updated: 2024/11/08, This is an ornamental plant that we are all familiar with. Usually people put it indoors as a potted plant. Its flowers are undoubtedly the most important thing for us to watch. So, when it will blossom is what we are most concerned about. So, when exactly will it bloom?

1. Florescence

The main results are as follows: (1) its florescence is mainly concentrated in winter. Flowers begin to grow in December, and the flowering can last from February to March. If properly maintained, it can bloom for as long as five months. In this stage, including New Year's Day, Spring Festival, Lantern Festival and other important festivals, can add joy and celebration.

(2) in addition, it may blossom in summer with different conditions in the environment. However, winter is still the most important stage.

2. Matters needing attention during flowering

(1) temperature: because the florescence is in winter, temperature becomes one of the key factors of maintenance. During the day, it is best to set the temperature at 18 to 22 degrees. In the dark, preferably at ten to twelve degrees. If it is lower than seven or eight degrees, it will blossom, but the florescence will be delayed accordingly. If it is lower than five or six degrees, then the plant may not blossom, even if the quality of the flower is not good. Therefore, temperature is the primary guarantee.

(2) Water: with the advent of flowering, the plant's demand for water will increase accordingly. If there is a lack of moisture, the florescence will also be delayed and the leaves will turn yellow. Then, when we observe that the basin soil dries, we need to replenish water in time. When watering, do not pour it on its bulb to avoid decay.

(3) Fertilizer: plants need nutrients from bud formation to flowering. At this time, it is best to apply fertilizer regularly to ensure that the ratio of flowers to leaves is one to one. Of course, the number of times is not too much, just once a week to ten days.

(4) Light: this kind of plant itself is light-loving, not to mention the natural need for light during flowering. Putting it in a place with plenty of light can promote the development of flowers.
