In hot summer, buckets should be provided to facilitate the use of water to wet cars and pigs on the way to prevent heatstroke. Before disinfecting the vehicle, rinse the floor, roof, surrounding guardrail and wheels with clean water, wait for natural drying, spray and disinfect the car with 1%-2% caustic soda solution or 0.05%-0.50% peracetic acid for 40 minutes, and finally rinse off with clean water to load the pig.

   (4) choose drivers and escorts: for long-distance transportation of pigs, two skilled and experienced drivers must be chosen to take turns driving. It is also necessary to select 1 or 2 people with a strong sense of responsibility and experience in transportation as carriers so that they can manage the pigs in transit at any time.

   (5) matters needing attention for loading pigs: according to the weather conditions, it is possible to transport live pigs, such as windy, snowy, rainy, especially hot or especially cold weather, and do not transport live pigs overnight. Do not drive violently when loading, so as not to increase stress and cause death or limp on the way. According to the capacity of the carriage, the pigs to be transported will be loaded according to the separated columns and groups. Do not be too crowded in hot summer, but can be slightly denser in cold winter. The floor of the car should be covered with sterilized straw or sawdust (the floor is made of wood and can not be padded) to prevent the pig from slipping, causing stump and limping.
