The preparations for cross-regional wheat harvest in "three summers" this year are basically ready.

The reporter learned from the Ministry of Agriculture that the large-scale cross-regional wheat harvest in 2015 will start from south to north. In order to do a good job in the battle of cross-regional machine harvest of wheat in "three summers", a few days ago, the Ministry of Agriculture held a video conference on the work of cross-region machine harvest of wheat in "three summers", analyzed the situation of wheat cross-region machine harvest this year, defined the targets and tasks, and deployed various work measures. Agricultural machinery departments in various localities have strengthened the maintenance of machines and tools, the training of robots, and the coordination of supply and demand, and all preparations have been basically completed.

First, the equipment is basically in place. Various localities have organized agricultural machinery personnel to go deep into the countryside and the production line to instruct agricultural machinery operators to pay close attention to the inspection and repair of agricultural machinery. at present, more than 5 million sets (sets) of all kinds of machinery have been overhauled. It is estimated that 550000 rice and wheat combine harvesters will be put into production in the "three summers" this year, of which more than 300000 will take part in cross-district operations. Henan Province is expected to add more than 5000 wheat combine harvesters this year, and the number of combine harvesters inside and outside the province participating in the summer harvest will exceed 165000.

Second, operator training is basically in place. In accordance with the requirements of the Circular of the General Office of the Ministry of Agriculture on effectively strengthening the quality of grain mechanized harvesting operations, various localities have further strengthened the safety education for the skills training of agricultural machinists and improved their skill level and professional accomplishment. In combination with the new vocational agricultural cultivation project and other training programs, Hubei Province has focused on the training of agricultural machinery driving, operation and maintenance skills for farmers who have purchased new machinery, and more than 81000 agricultural machinery operators have been trained.

Third, service guarantee is basically in place. In mid-March, the Ministry of Agriculture released the market information of wheat machinery harvesting operations in 17 provinces through the "Agricultural Machinery Cross-region Operation Service through Train" system of the China Agricultural Mechanization Information Network, promoting the docking of supply and demand between agricultural machinery farmers and wheat growers. 340000 "agricultural machinery cross-district operation certificates" were distributed free of charge to agricultural machinery operators participating in cross-district operations in April. The agricultural machinery department of Shandong Province, public security and transportation departments jointly issued a circular on organizing the cross-district operation of agricultural machinery, which provided an institutional guarantee for the orderly cross-district operation. Jiangsu Agricultural Machinery Bureau continues to deepen strategic cooperation with Sinopec Jiangsu Branch to comprehensively promote the measures to guarantee the supply of oil (preferential supply, priority refueling, quality service, free card) for agricultural machinery operation.

In the next step, the Ministry of Agriculture will strengthen the statistics of wheat harvest progress and the release of information, guide all localities to do a good job in the coordination of supply and demand of machinery and tools, strive to speed up the progress of wheat harvest, and ensure that grains return to the warehouse.
