Is Longtuzhu suitable for indoor farming?
First, whether it can be cultured in the house
The answer is that it can be farmed indoors, but it is best not to keep it in the bedroom.
First of all, the most important point is that it is non-toxic, as a vine, it has certain medicinal functions, the whole body can do medicine, if you fall swelling, fever and pain, it can help you recover, so it is non-toxic.
Its flower flavor is rich, if you don't like its smell or hate pollen, you'd better not put it at home, especially in the bedroom, when it breathes fastest at night, we are also absorbing oxygen, if the oxygen in the bedroom itself is not much, of course, it is bad for our health, so it is best to keep it outside the house, and if you must keep it in the bedroom, you have to move out at night.
It can also be maintained as a potted plant, and the function of decorating the home is very powerful.
Second, how to breed indoors
1. Change the soil
If it is used as a pot conservation, change the pot once a year or two, in early spring or after the flowers fade. First, use coarse sand to cover the bottom, which is conducive to the discharge of excess water, then add base fertilizer, garden soil, rotten leaves, etc., mix and stir evenly, pour the flowers thoroughly, put them in a cool area and slow down the seedlings, and then move to a sunny place.
2. Fertilization
Fertilizer should not be put too much. Add thin fertilizer to it every seven to ten days during flowering season, such as rotten cake fertilizer, three or four times in a row. If its leaves turn yellow, add 0.2% ferrous sulfate to it, and the leaves will turn green.
3. Watering
It likes moist conditions, and needs plenty of water during its growth, but not too much. If it is too wet, the leaves will yellow and fall off, and the water should be sprinkled evenly. The soil should be kept wet, but it should not be suddenly dry and wet, or too wet or too dry.
4. Lighting
You need to give it plenty of sunshine in winter, move to the sunny area, and shade it with a shade in summer, otherwise the leaves will easily turn yellow. If there is not enough light, there will be crazy branches and no flowers to bloom.
