Last Updated: 2024/11/06, A friend bought a pot of this plant during the Spring Festival. He raised it in a bottle with water. The leaves grow very well and it is time to blossom, but the flowers haven't grown yet. What's the matter? Is it possible that this plant does not blossom? if so, when will it bloom?

When will there be flowers

Under normal circumstances, this kind of plant can blossom after a year. Its flowers are very unique, very gorgeous and beautiful, and it can bloom for a long time and can blossom for a whole year.

If it is raised in water, it can live for a long time. In this way, its flowering period is one month. If it is planted in the soil, its florescence can be four to six months.

It likes warm areas with water and astigmatism. It takes 22-30 degrees to grow and blossom, preferably above 10 degrees in winter. If the number of flowers exceeds 35 degrees in summer, the number of flowers will decrease, and once it exceeds 25 degrees, measures should be taken to put it in a ventilated area.

Spring, summer and autumn should give it part of the sun, it only needs 70% of the light at most, do not directly expose to the sun. Keep it in the sunny area of your home in winter. It likes wet places with 70-80% humidity. There is not too much water in the basin, but it must be moist. The soil should be acidic, in the range of 4.5-5.0, and if it is very dry, the leaves should be sprinkled twice a day.

Second, how to promote flowering

1. Add less nitrogen fertilizer and more phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to blossom faster. Phosphorus is a very important substance that can help flowers, fruits and species grow. If there is less phosphorus, it can not grow flower buds, of course, can not blossom. If it doesn't have a flower bud when it comes to flowering, it can bury compound fertilizer or other fertilizers with high phosphorus and potassium in the soil.

2. There must be enough light to help the flower bud grow. If it is placed in a dark place all the year round, it cannot produce nutrients and the flower bud will not grow. It can be moved out of the house to get more sunshine to help it produce nutrients to grow and blossom.

3. One month before flowering, the soil should be kept dry in order to facilitate the growth of flower buds. If you always pour too much water, it is easy to lose flowers. Therefore, water should be controlled before flowering, and only by creating suitable conditions for it can it blossom.
