Last Updated: 2024/11/06, As a kind of ornamental plant, it blossoms for a long time, and the flowers are very beautiful, so they are liked by many people. What it grows is the Buddha's flame flower, which is very unique. If we raise such a pot of flowers at home or in the office, we will really feel better, so what should we do after it blossoms?

First, how long is the florescence?

It belongs to the Araceae, the leaves will not be yellow, will not fall, and it can blossom all the year round. When it grows to a certain height, it can blossom in the axils of the leaves. Usually, after it blossoms, each flower can bloom for about a month, and the strangest thing about it is that it can blossom all year round, the color of the flower is very gorgeous, the color is very rich, and the change is very great.

Its flowers change greatly from bract to falling. At first they are yellow, then they turn milky, then they turn green, and finally they turn yellow before they drop. There are also three colors of bracts, red, pink and white, which are particularly attractive.

Second, post-flowering treatment

1. The strangest thing about its flowers and leaves is that they appear in turn. If a leaf grows, it will grow a flower under its armpit, so if some of its flowers fade away, it will grow new flowers.

2. After all its flowers have withered, it is best to remove the stem, first of all, because the remaining stem will not only affect the beauty of the plant, but also lose some nutrients, which is not good for its growth. and when the flower stem is withered and yellow, it will cause the erosion of diseases and insects.

III. Daily maintenance

1. If you want to water it more, you'd better alternate it with dry and wet. Control the water in late autumn and early spring, don't let too much water accumulate in the basin, and add compound fertilizer two or three times a month.

2. Change the basin every one or two years in early spring, remove the aging roots and replace the new fertile soil. Put coarse sand on the bottom of the basin to help drain the excess water.

3. It needs a temperature of 20 to 25 degrees to grow, and it can't be lower than 16 degrees in the house in winter. Sprinkle water on the leaves and the ground two or three times a day during hot seasons to help humidify and cool down. Use a shade to shade it at noon in summer, let it see light in the evening and morning when the sun is weak, and put it in the sunny area in winter.
