Bull head square, neck thick short, prodromal developed, acromion bulge 8~9 cm. The cow has a delicate head and a well-developed midbody.

Adult bulls weigh 650-700 kg and cows 400-450 kg. Easy fattening, tender meat, high slaughter rate. When fattened to 22-24 months old, the slaughter rate reached 63.74%, and the net meat rate reached 54.24%.

IV. Luxi Yellow Cattle

1. Origin

West of Shandong Province, south of Yellow River and west of Canal. Jining and Heze City are the central production areas. It is a beef cattle breed with both service meat and beef.

2. Physical appearance

V. Yanbian cattle

1. Origin

Originated in the east of Northeast China, it is an excellent breed of cattle in cold temperate zone and one of the excellent local cattle breeds in Northeast China. It belongs to both service meat and cattle varieties.

2. Physical appearance

The chest is deep and broad, the bones strong, the coat long and dense, and the skin thick and elastic. Most of the hairs are yellow in different shades, of which dark yellow accounts for 16.3%, yellow for 74.8%, light yellow for 6.7%, and other colors for 2.2%. The nose is usually brown with ink dots.

3. Production performance

Yanbian cattle were fattened for 6 months from 18 months old. The daily gain was 813 g, carcass weight was 265.8 kg, slaughter rate was 57.7%, net meat percentage was 47.23%, eye muscle area was 75.8 cm. Yanbian cattle are cold-resistant and appear obvious restlessness at-28℃, but they can maintain normal appetite and ruminate.
