A national seminar on the construction of ecological tea gardens with the theme of "exploring ecological planting to ensure source safety" was held in Beijing a few days ago. Participants in the industry conducted in-depth discussions on how to strengthen the construction of tea gardens and further improve the quality and safety of tea.

From bit by bit to build an ecological tea garden

Wang Qing, executive vice president of China Tea Circulation Association, said at the meeting that over the years, thanks to the joint efforts of the government and the whole industry, China's tea industry has greatly improved from quality awareness, industry standards to product inspection level. On the whole, Chinese tea is safe, but in order to further improve the quality of Chinese tea, we must keep our feet on the ground and start bit by bit.

Chen Zemin, deputy to the National people's Congress and president of the China Agricultural Industry Chamber of Commerce, participated in the revision of the Food Safety Law. He said: "the newly revised Food Safety Law highlights the implementation of the legal system to promote food safety. This is the strictest food safety law in the history of our country. In this case, we should pay more attention to the safety of crops, especially the tea industry, because the added value of the tea industry is high, and the reputation and value of the tea industry should not be damaged because of tea pollution. Market economy is an honest economy. "

Li Li, director of the Economic Office of the National Agricultural Technology extension Service Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, told reporters that the construction of the tea garden is one of the focus of the current work. With the improvement of national requirements for tea quality and safety in recent years, it is more necessary for us to strengthen the promotion of safe planting methods in tea gardens.

Wang Xiguang, general manager of Jiangxi Guishi Weiye Tea Industry Co., Ltd., believes that it is necessary to rationally do a good job in the construction of organic tea gardens. At present, there are still difficulties in the construction of ecological tea garden. for example, the area of organic tea in Wuyuan is gradually shrinking, and the tea output and export price can not be raised, which brings great pressure to tea enterprises. It is hoped that people in the industry can help expand the market of organic tea, which can not only encourage the construction of ecological tea gardens, but also ensure the benefits of tea farmers. "in the case of tea production exceeding sales and price war, we should rationally win by quality instead of blindly pursuing output."

Winning by quality brings good news to tea farmers.

Han Wenyan, a researcher at the Tea Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, proposed that foliar fertilizer should be effectively used to improve the quality of tea. "it is mainly due to waste and soil pollution caused by the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the tea garden. Through the comparative experiment, we found that the amino acid content of tea in 4 experimental sites increased, the content of tea polyphenols in 3 experimental sites increased, the effect of foliar fertilizer on spring tea was weaker, and the effect on summer and autumn tea was more obvious. At the same time, how to spray foliar fertilizer correctly is a key point, and tea farmers should be guided to apply it properly. " Han Wenyan explained.

Yu Zeqin, general manager of Fujian Wuyishan Qinpin Tea Co., Ltd., told reporters: "I began to use special foliar fertilizer for tea last year. After a control experiment, it was found that this special foliar fertilizer not only increased yield but also degraded pesticide and heavy metal residues."

Sun Weijiang, director of the Tea Department of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, believes that the problem of rare earths in Fujian oolong tea is mainly due to two reasons: on the one hand, the content of rare earths in soil in South China is relatively high; on the other hand, because the leaves of oolong tea have high maturity, and tea trees are easy to absorb trace elements in the soil, so the content of rare earths is relatively high. After the use of special foliar fertilizer for tea, the rare earth content in some experimental sites has decreased, if it can be verified after seasonal testing that spraying treasure foliar fertilizer can improve the rare earth content, this will be a boon for green tea and Pu'er tea with high leaf maturity.

Xu Yansong, director of the Tea Industry Bureau of Xiuning County, Anhui Province, said that Xiuning County has an area of 200000 mu of tea garden, which is used as a demonstration area for the quality and safety of tea exports in the province. the county has established and improved tea quality control systems such as agrochemical input control and standardized tea base management, and used special foliar fertilizer for tea for a long time. In recent years, the use of this special foliar fertilizer not only increased the density of tea buds, but also picked fresh buds 5-6 days in advance, the yield of summer and autumn tea increased significantly, and the ability of drought and cold resistance of tea garden was also enhanced. Last year, all the tea spot checks in Xiuning County were qualified, and there were no problems such as excessive heavy metal and pesticide residues.

As a well-known domestic brand of organic water-soluble fertilizer with a history of 30 years, Spencer pays close attention to the quality of Chinese tea. Zheng Guojian, director of the National Tea quality Supervision and Inspection Center, released the "Test report on the use of Special Fertilizer for spraying Shibao Tea in Tea Garden". Wang Qing expressed the hope that more enterprises, like Spencer, are committed to developing products that improve the quality of tea and reduce pesticide and heavy metal residues.
