Last Updated: 2024/11/08, This is a kind of cactus family, with lovely flowers for us to watch. Its flowering period is from October to February of the following year, but if the plant does not grow a bud at this time, is it very disturbing? So why did this happen?

1. Temperature problem

(1) reason: this plant likes a warm environment. Therefore, if the temperature is too low, it is difficult to grow a bud. In addition, it should not be too high, which is also disadvantageous to its bud growth.

(2) solution: adjust the temperature to the suitable range of the plant. Preferably between fifteen and twenty-five degrees. The highest should not be higher than 30 degrees and the lowest should not be less than ten degrees.

2. Lighting problem

(1) reason: this plant is a kind of plant with short sunshine and has a demand for light. In addition, it is in the blooming season, so it is best to keep light for two to eight hours a day. If the light is too weak, the plant may not grow a bud.

(2) solution: if this is the case, then it should not be too shadowy. Put it in a place with better light. Except for very strong light, other times generally do not need to be sheltered.

3. Fertilizer problem

(1) reason: the blooming of flowers needs to consume more nutrients. Sometimes, they don't get enough nutrients from the soil, so they need to apply some fertilizer. If it is not applied at this time, the bud may not grow.

(2) solution: properly apply some fertilizers containing more K and P elements.

4. Humidity problem

(1) reason: this kind of plant likes the wet environment. In addition to watering, it also has requirements for humidity in the air, which should be kept at 40% to 80. If the humidity is not enough, it may also prevent it from growing buds.

(2) solution: if it is relatively dry, the water content of the environment can be increased by spraying.
