Vietnam's organic agricultural products are sold to 180 countries around the world.

Hanoi, Vietnam News Agency-Vietnam National Agriculture Center and Guilin Group jointly held a forum on the promotion of organic agriculture production in Hue City a few days ago. The forum attracted leaders, experts, scientists and farmers from some provinces and cities to participate.

According to the information provided by the forum, by the end of 2019, the production area of organic agriculture in Vietnam had reached nearly 240000 hectares, a four-fold increase over 2016. At present, organic production activities are carried out in 46 of the country's 63 provinces and cities.

Vietnam organic agricultural products are sold to 180 countries around the world, and have entered the high-end markets such as the United States, Japan, Britain, South Korea and so on. This result is attributed to the National Agricultural Promotion Center to promote organic agricultural production through the establishment of demonstration models, training and the provision of information, publicity and other activities.

Li Guoqing, manager of the National Agriculture Center, said that Guilin Group has very unique products in organic agriculture, such as Guilin Group's organic rice, and recently, according to the safe biological farming model, Guilin Group's organic meat products.

In addition, the National Center for Agriculture has established a variety of models in a number of places, such as organic vegetables and organic aquatic products in the southwest. In addition, the planting area of organic coffee and pepper is also expanding.
